We played this on our anniversary trip. After 19 years we still really enjoyed it. No game will be perfect for everyone. Don't take it too seriously and it can be a lot of fun! We just agreed up front we could throw out any card we didn't feel comfortable with as long as we explained why (only 2 cards were tossed) . This game made us try some stuff we had never tried. It made us laugh and it pushed a couple of conversations we could have had years ago, but never did. Definitely motivated some intense fun! The only weird part to us was the part about playing with other couples.....to each his own I guess, but this is way too intimate for playing with friends.

My partner and I tried Risky Couples on a quiet Friday night and it totally changed our evening — we laughed until we cried and actually learned a few new things about each other. The deck’s mix of dares, intimate questions, and silly challenges struck a great balance between romantic and playful. The rules were simple enough to pick up in minutes (just shuffle and draw), and yet the game felt unpredictable — sometimes sweet, sometimes spicy, always fun. The card quality and packaging also felt sturdy and gift-ready, which made it perfect for anniversaries or Valentine’s Day. If you and your partner want to spice up a date night and connect in a fun way, I’d highly recommend Risky Couples.
