  • Provides great laughing moments Provides great laughing moments

Quick thoughts: very easy to understand and play. Lots of laughable moments and potential for repeated game nights with varying outcomes. In depth thoughts: As a regular board game player, I must confess I am not quick to review any item. Truthfully, I've probably given less than a dozen reviews although I am a regular online shopper. I preface that to say that WE LOVED this game! The rules were easy to follow and even made us laugh. A few times. That brought smiles to our frozen faces as we endured a long, icey night in Austin Texas with no power. Thankful to have a friend to pass the time by the wood burning fire, Matt and I chose this game that was purchased for such night-in occasions. With a lantern and a headlamp we played through the first 10 card rounds with ease. Somewhere around card 3 we noticed that the creators included their picture and a phone number in the package. What would you do if you had this information? Well maybe you're like me and you capture the moment with a selfie and text said creators telling them of your shenanigans. Let them know their game warmed your hearts and made you smile! Yep that's what I did! What happened next you ask… someone texted back!!! Yes the game was great but the response back made my day! I am thankful for the way this game helped us pass the time and brought joy and lots of laughs. I've already added another of their games to my cart and look forward to seeing what fun it may bring. This game set itself apart in many ways and I hope you enjoy it too! ... show more

My family and I like it. We had a lot of fun and laughs playing this game on Christmas. My son said he can't wait til we play again I love the easy erase board and the ability to reuse the cards. However i know at some point the ink will eventually dry out, and I will probably have to purchase more.

  • Fast-Paced, Hilarious, and Perfect for Game Night!
Color: Yellow
Off Topic is the kind of game that starts out simple but quickly turns into pure chaos and laughter. It’s fast-paced, easy to learn, and guarantees some of the most ridiculous debates you’ll ever have. Why It’s a Hit: ✔️ Quick Thinking & Creativity Required – Roll a letter, get a list of random topics, and race against the clock to write down answers. Sounds easy—until your brain completely betrays you. ✔️ The Best Part? Arguing. – Think “Penguin” is a valid answer for “Something You’d Bring to a BBQ”? Now you have to convince everyone why. And that’s where the real fun happens. ✔️ Endless Replayability – The topics and letters make every round completely different, so it never gets old. ✔️ Great for Any Group – Whether it’s family game night or a rowdy party with friends, this game brings out everyone’s competitive side. If you love quick, hilarious, and slightly chaotic games, this one is a must-have. Just be prepared to defend your weirdest answers with confidence and zero shame. 😂🎲 ... show more

  • We had a lot of fun - I'd encourage coming up with some house rules along the way
Color: Yellow
I'm always looking for games to play with larger groups. I'm lucky to have a family that loves board games, but often a lot of people want to play and most of them have short attention spans. Off Topic has been a great addition as a result. Easy to learn and quick to play it's the perfect game for them. Similar to Scattegories you are given categories to write answers to which all have to start with a specific letter. But in Off Topic you are given more adult (but not too adult) questions to answer. Also, an added bonus is you get to write two answers for every question. Which not only helps to add more funny answers, but gives you a better chance to score. I do like that the questions are written in a way that encourages creative and sometimes longer answers. It's also fun to make someone argue why their silly or stupid answer deserves to be counted. This was a lot more fun overall than I expected it to be. My family has already brought it out 4 times in the past 2 weeks which says a lot. We did make up a few house rules along the way in regards to acceptable answers. Also, we weren't fans of the "whoever wins the most rounds" rule. We instead were adding our points up each round. The great part is the rules are written in a way that allows you to cater it to the way you like to play. ... show more

  • Not very "adult"
Color: Yellow
Honestly this is a fun game, really for the whole fam... it's basically just Scattergories, if you've ever played that. However, I'm not really sure what's so "adult" about this. I feel like this could be labeled as a "12+" aged game. Slightly disappointing as we bought it for adult board game night... and the categories in the game were hardly anything "adult-like." ... show more
