    • Fantastic/neverending, great game
We played this for 3 hours a night for 3 nights in a row. Game never ends, so it was a 9 hour marathon, by the end of which we were ready to kill each other, screaming, yelling, swearing...love, love, love it but you should be way older than 8 years old to play it...it ain't easy.

My Husband played this when he was much younger & enjoyed it. We gifted our nephews this for Christmas & they love playing this! They said the instructions were easy to understand. Their ages are 9, 12, 14.

    • Let The Games Begin . . .
The game is as described (new) with the original overwrap plastic intact. Seller shipped it in a timely way; however, it could have been packed better in the shipping box. Because of this, the shipping box was somewhat flattened in transit but the game appears to be undamaged.

The cards could be a little more durable, but the rest of it is perfect. The best part is the little wood block armies instead of the plastic crap in the current versions. Even the lozenge shaped armies are wood! I actually prefer the cardboard army holders over the plastic bins, they always seemed to break and I keep the armies in sealable baggies anyway. Outer packaging is well printed and sturdy, the cardboard insert that holds the army containers, dice and cards is a little lightweight. The map is well printed and heavyweight. Can't say enough good things about this edition. Worth the few extra sheckels for the wood game pieces! ... show more

What a great product! It is the old game of Risk that I remember from my childhood. All the army pieces are little colored wooden (not plastic) pieces. The board itself is nice and substantial. I think it will stand the test of time very well.
