La base me ha funcionado perfectamente durante dos años sin problemas y me ha ayudado mucho para tener un escritorio ergonómico de calidad. Por el precio de la base no me podría encontrar nada parecía a lo que tengo el día de hoy. La configuración de doble motor es súper para tener muchos tiliches y elevarlo todo sin problemas. El control de 4 memorias es lo mejor para tener múltiples alturas de trabajo. La base es súper robusta y muy pesada, al final el escritorio queda muy firme en su lugar y no se balancea. I bought two sets of these for home office re-do. I paired them with different manufacturers’ bamboo desktops also purchased off Amazon and they worked great. (I also considered butcher block type desktop from Home Depot’s counter section but bamboo though more $ had better aesthetic look and also lighter weight. ) The bases are definitely heavy duty and were easy to put together. (Good idea to have an extra hand to carry box in as they are h-e-a-v-y!). Instructions were clear and the various bolts and screws all had an extra included just in case. If you do go with different top as I did, just expect you’ll have to do some drilling of extra holes underneath to attach. Didn’t have any issues with syncing up the motors and controls as other reviewers noted…worked great right out of the box. I’d also recommend some sort of cable tray option as well just to help organize. All in all though I’m very happy with these! ... show more

My Uncaged Ergonomics RISE UP electric sit/stand desk frame arrived and, I have to say, I was a bit nervous about it. I went with this option over the much more expensive iMovr Lander option ($750+ desk frame) and other more expensive options like Jarvis (which I already own for my wife's desk), UpliftDesk or Standdesk ( all 3 around $450-$550) so I was expecting a tough build and a product with some flaws. My first observation was the packing, It was incredibly well packed so there was no chance of damage during shipping. I mean, really, really well packaged. Once I opened it and reviewed the instructions, I got to work on the build. It was simply designed and well engineered. No problem with missing parts, poor paint/welds, or mis-aligned screw threads, etc. Really no issue at all putting this together. All in, it took right at one hour from start to finish and I was going slow and easy. The instructions come as a single page that has illustrations that are easy to follow and well worded. No problem expanding the desk for my 6 foot long desk and it could easily go wider out but I didn't measure how far to confirm the max distance. They provide all the hardware to mount your desk to the frame, secure the electrical control and include stick-on "zip like" ties for cable management. I was also surprised to receive 6 rubber spacers for use between the frame and desk top. I'd read DIY guides recommending you add these...and Uncaged Ergonomics had already included them. Once built, I checked the heights to ensure they were true to the specs. It has a low height of 26" and max height of 52". It easily lifts my 6' by 3', 100 pound butcher block desk top with my PC and Monitor on the desk. No problems at all. It is also quiet and lifts fast but starts out and stops smoothly so no jarring at all. I am really impressed with the quality and the price is unbeatable. Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor if you are going the DIY route and get this frame over the other available options. My initial impression is this desk is sturdier and better built than the Jarvis desk frame. Time will tell if it also has a solid reliability record but it is off to a great start. ... show more

When I transitioned to full time working from home it soon became clear that my big corner desk from 1995 just wasn't going to cut it anymore. I wanted something similar in functionality to the Steelcase standing desk I have in the office, but without the $1000+ price tag. The RISE UP legs with a top I made from cherry and African padauk made a stylish replacement and upgrade from the 1990s look for about $420 all in. It is quieter and smoother in operation than the Steelcase desk I have in the office. Why only 4 stars? A combination of things added up to one star. None of these would prevent me from buying another one (which will probably happen soon since my wife now wants one). (1) The plastic cap on one of the motor controllers arrived cracked with a piece broken off. That side faces the tabletop so you will never see it, but it looks like it was shipped that way. (2) The end of one of the legs had the paint scratched off. With the amount of foam padding I don't see how that could have happened in shipping so it looks like it was packed that way. Easy enough for that part to be facing the wall, but still. (3) Excessively long screws. The screws to attach the desktop are longer than I'd prefer to be using if I only had a standard 3/4" thick desktop. Mine is 7/8" thick so they worked for me, but that could cause somebody else some issues. There are no warnings about minimum desktop thickness in the instructions. (4) There are no pre-drilled holes on the frame for mounting a CPU holder so the PC is mounted to the frame. You can get them to mount to the underside of the desktop, but a couple of mount points on the frame would make things easier. ... show more
