Used this product to mount a Ring 2 doorbell in a corner at a 45 degree angle. Mounting was quick and easy, other than the doorbell wires being too short. It would have been helpful if the kit had a couple of pre-stripped bell wires with a couple of splices or wire nuts since the wedge requires the wires to be just a little longer to reach the Ring doorbell. Finally, my biggest issue with the wedge is the use of the provided plain Philips head screws for the angle adjustment. They should have used Torx security screws to at least equal the security of the screws used for a Ring doorbell mounting. In the photos I've provided, the wedge-provided screws are circled in red; comparing with the Ring security screws circled in blue. Undoing the red Philips allows access to the wedge mounting screws, allowing removal of the whole wedge and Ring doorbell combination.

I have a new wrought iron door with a narrow space between it and the wall to install my ring doorbell. The space was recessed and this holder would not fit. I cut a small piece of trim board, painted it, and attached it in the space so that it is now level with the door frame. That worked well. After that, it took a few minutes to figure out how to install the angle mount. The directions were clear as mud to me. That said, once I got it installed, it works perfectly. Anytime someone approaches my porch, I know before they even step up. I'm quite pleased with the end product.

I got a battery powered Ring doorbell cam, which is pretty wide. My doorframe was about half an inch too narrow to attach the Ring doorbell as is. I initially thought I would have to get a different type of doorbell, but I checked Amazon first. This wedge kit was perfect! Not only does it give me a better view, it's got 2 vertical screw holes that make it possible to attach to even very narrow frames (mine is about 2 inches wide). Now it's got a small overhang but it's mounted securely and feels sturdily on the frame. Install was easy and straight forward, got it all done in about 15 minutes.
