I use my badlands ATV winch a lot for work around my land. I have broken the rope more than once. This is a good replacement at a very reasonable price. I wish they had a longer rope option. Something like an 80’ option in this size.

As an ATV winch rope, this will never see anywhere near 8000 pounds. I'm quite skeptical of that rating, but it will work for my application. Higher quality ropes I've used have a softer more flexible feel to them, this rope just feels different. Not necessarily a problem, but a valid observation. I do like the protective sheath near the business end of the rope to protect it, nice touch. All in all, it seems decent enough to purchase again if I need it. A note about the lug that secures it to the drum. Apparently a lot of people getting this have never wound a winch rope before. The lug is only meant to keep it in place, NOT TO CARRY ANY LOAD...EVER. You secure the rope do the drum, then wind the coils around it. You never unravel the last winding that is directly around the spool. You will rip the rope off.

Nice and solid end loops, used it a bit on ATV, works just fine. It does not stretch much under load, that's important. It tends to pinch in between turns and flatten itself if you don't guide it on the drum all the time to make even layers on the spool. But for the price of 14$ and my very occasional use scenario I would not complain at all. I would recommend no problems for non mission critical applications.

My wire rope on my ATV winch had seen better days, and constantly wanted to turn into a rats nest if I didn't keep a lot of tension on it when deploying it. After removing the old wire and cleaning the spool, I attached this and, with mild tension, put it on the winch. I have only used it once since the install, but it is very easy on my hands and very easy to hook up due to its softness and flexibility - so far it is working great.

The dyneema braided rope is as high quality as anything out there. The electrical terminal lug on the one end is concerning. We assume that is to create initial grip on a winch drum, but it isn't going to take much force at all to yank that off. We got this just for the Dyneema and it's a good deal.

Super lightweight, no cuts or stabs to the hands like steel cable! Works GREAT on my 3K UTV setup. I have put in a put twice now and this little dude did not disappoint! I am ordering a spare for the toolbox 'just in case'. I also plan to change out the steel for a synthetic (12K) on my Warn on the front of my Trail Boss. Should have discovered this stuff years ago.
