Been in combat sports for 20 years. In my particular case, using it for combat Sambo practice. Which uses MMA gloves. This headgear looks great so far. It offers good protection without a ton of bulk. The cheek pads work well enough to offer some nose protection while still maintaining good vision. Value for money is ok. The headgear fit well following a little adjustment, which was easy to do, and offered a reasonably wide field of view. And when I did get punched in the head while wearing it, my opponent's gloves bounced right off. In other words, it worked as expected. My only (minor) gripe is that the buckle on the chinstrap is metal, so it needed to be taped up prior to my bout lest it cut anyone open. So just be aware that's a thing.
