I recently purchased the Ringke Onyx case for my Pixel 9 Pro, and I have to say, it’s the best case I’ve had in a while! The design is well thought out with precise cutouts for all buttons and ports, and I love that it offers full protection for the camera lens, which is often overlooked in other cases. The case feels really nice in the hand—smooth yet grippy, giving me the confidence I need to hold my phone without worrying about it slipping out of my hand. The texture is soft but provides excellent grip without being tacky or too sticky. It doesn’t add unnecessary bulk, and it’s slim enough that I don’t feel like I’m carrying around a brick. The raised edges protect the screen when it’s face down, though I wish the sides were a bit more raised for better screen protection. For those who are into MagSafe accessories, this case works flawlessly with them. I was initially unsure about the magnet strength, but after trying it with a MagSafe wallet, it holds it perfectly, even though it might not work well with other types of magnets. Ordered magnetic version for Pixel 9 Pro regular-size. I use it in conjunction with the latest ohsnap grip and wireless charging still works - though you have to be quite precise in placement. The case is well designed, with chamfered edges, excellent grip, accurate cutouts and sizing including lanyard holes on both sides, and well protected surfaces including the rear camera space, leaving only what needs to be exposed. I've dropped my phone numerous times, already, and I've typically been more concerned for whatever it crashes into (usually my foot) than about the phone. This was the thinnest available case that offered any amount of proper protection upon the P9Pro release. It's definitely not thin, however, and I do wish the edges in front of the screen weren't raised quite as far from the glass. I would prefer to sacrifice this protection for minimization, but with the protection this offers, I have no doubt my phone will survive until then. ... show more

I actually had to check the reviews to check if I received a defective one. But turns out a lot of people had the same issue. Magnet is absolutely horrible. Does not even hold the case without the phone in it. Others had same issue. If you're not looking to attach anything on it using it's magnets, then i definitely recommend it. It holds small, light magnetic objects but they still fall with the smallest movement. Cant imagine it holding a wallet in place like I wanted it for. I might keep just because it actually looks and feels really nice. Update: So today I was in the Apple store and I tried the magsafe wallet on this case and it stuck on the case just like it did on Apple cases. I have to say, even though the magnet doesn't hold the case on anything, it is holding magsafe products like it's supposed to. I got it specifically to use with a wallet, so I ended up just buying one from Apple and I'm very happy with it. Not the apple wallet but the case itself. Good price. Thoughtful case design. Thin. Nice texture power button. I like the screen protection of top and bottom while having shallower sides for better side swiping. Nice texture for grip and always appreciate full camera coverage. Only downsides is it definitely has a cheap material feel but for expected for the price. I also wouldn't want to drop my phone due to that feeling. ... show more

Part of their description says "Feels good in the hand" I must say i agree 100%. The Pixel 9 XL being a newer device gone be hard find that perfect case for your liking. With that said i ordered a different case prior an was highly disappointed. It made my phone much thicker an was pretty slippery holding in hand. So back to my search for a new case an came across this Ringke Onyx. What drew me to it was the camera protection an the cut out layout around the camera, it gave it a more unique look compared other cases. An again its advertised for it's grip an it's definitely there with the added side textured build. The case itself I'd say is slim fitting doesn't add bulk feeling at all feels great in hand. My only negative is while the raised edges for camera protection is great, the edges on the front phone for screen is not as raised. It only has decent raised edges on the top an bottom corners of the pone leaving the side on front with minimal raised edges on its side so screen protector may be need if you lay your phone down screen side down alot. The Pixel 9 Pro is frankly pretty uncomfortable to hold by itself, after texting for more than a couple of minutes it was digging into the sides of my fingers, and it feels like you need to hold it tightly so you don't drop it because it's as smooth as glass(why are such fragile devices designed to be so slippery???). The Ringke Onyx case fixes that completely. Probably the best phone case I've ever had, it has a very pleasant texture to it that's almost cloth-like? I'm not sure what else to call it but I love the feel of it. It's very soft and comfortable to hold while still letting you have an excellent grip on the phone and it feels sturdy. ... show more

From the aesthetic to the feel in the hand, this might be one of my favorite phone cases, for any phone, ever. It fits like a glove and it works with a screen protector installed. It's plenty grippy, though it's not the grippiest case by any means. Another thing that this case does well compared to many other cases for the Pixel 9 series phones, is how well it protects the camera bar. I love how it covers the whole bar instead of leaving it exposed me like pretty much every other case. My only wish is that Ringke released a magnet version in the Camo colorway. 5/5. ... show more
