I’m returning to this review: I’ve added a star. The reason is I’ve now used the solid (not coiled) sizer for several weeks. I’ve removed it a couple of times to clean it and the rings. And found it very easy to remove from ring while still on my finger, so I could get ring over my knuckle. With it on, my ring will not go over the knuckle, which is a great assurance to me, as I do not want to lose my wedding ring! I think I can use a short section of coil in addition and end up with a better combo than I realized at the beginning. It’s worth a try. The alternative is having a device put on that you unfasten like a clamp on a car tote! And that would really annoy me as I wash my hands or face. These silicone devices provide some help, for sure. And it all depends upon your hands, knuckles and the ring size relative to those components of your finger. In my case, the ring that is extra thick at the bottom - a nifty design by my late jeweler, doesn't fit into the curved band well, as it's too thick. The wedding ring, by same lovely designer, does fit into one, but only if I can finagle it on the ring once it passes the knuckle. In fact, given my knuckle size compared to a finger where the collagen has been trimmed down by wearing three rings for decades, the coils work better. But I find them painful when washing my face, so I feel stumped by the situation. I'm still saying, for the price, it's well worth giving them a try. They appear well made, are nice and clear to start - but the ones I used for years (not this company's) did turn rather ocre after months of use. Hence I got this set - as I'd used up all the coils from that first order. They are VERY hard to get over the ring once it's on your finger, even on the left hand (I'm a righty). But to remove them, it's easy - gently using a q tip without the cotton, or a rounded nail file, you can push them off the ring to take the ring off.

I had several rings that were too large because I chose the wrong size, and these ring adjusters made them fit perfectly. They're easy to use and work exactly as intended. I highly recommend them, especially since they're not easy to find in Colombia.

After major weight loss, my wedding band was slipping off my hand. (Luckily I was able to find after an episode of gutter cleaning.) I added the 5mm solid, clip-on adjuster and I no longer have a problem. The ring fits comfortably, can still be removed when needed and the adjuster is solid, but not hard, and does not fall off of my ring; and it really is effectively invisible to view. The product comes with multiple solid, slip-on adjusters as well as coiled adjusters -- all made from the same solid and not hard silicone. I have not had a problem with dirt or discoloration and it can still be removed from the ring for cleaning if needed. Very pleased with this purchase. I'm storing the unused pieces of this package in case any one else in my family may also need a ring adjuster. Highly recommended

Do they work? Yes. Are they comfortable? Not exactly. The round spiral ones work the best and are more comfortable than the clip on one. None of them really grip the material so they tend to slide around a-lot. The varying sizes was very helpful in being able to pick the right size and you trim it down to the size you need. You do still notice that they are on the ring but these are great for if your losing weight and don’t want to commit to having your rings permanently resized yet… so for now they work.
