I’m returning to this review: I’ve added a star. The reason is I’ve now used the solid (not coiled) sizer for several weeks. I’ve removed it a couple of times to clean it and the rings. And found it very easy to remove from ring while still on my finger, so I could get ring over my knuckle. With it on, my ring will not go over the knuckle, which is a great assurance to me, as I do not want to lose my wedding ring! I think I can use a short section of coil in addition and end up with a better combo than I realized at the beginning. It’s worth a try. The alternative is having a device put on that you unfasten like a clamp on a car tote! And that would really annoy me as I wash my hands or face. These silicone devices provide some help, for sure. And it all depends upon your hands, knuckles and the ring size relative to those components of your finger. In my case, the ring that is extra thick at the bottom - a nifty design by my late jeweler, doesn't fit into the curved band well, as it's too thick. The wedding ring, by same lovely designer, does fit into one, but only if I can finagle it on the ring once it passes the knuckle. In fact, given my knuckle size compared to a finger where the collagen has been trimmed down by wearing three rings for decades, the coils work better. But I find them painful when washing my face, so I feel stumped by the situation. I'm still saying, for the price, it's well worth giving them a try. They appear well made, are nice and clear to start - but the ones I used for years (not this company's) did turn rather ocre after months of use. Hence I got this set - as I'd used up all the coils from that first order. They are VERY hard to get over the ring once it's on your finger, even on the left hand (I'm a righty). But to remove them, it's easy - gently using a q tip without the cotton, or a rounded nail file, you can push them off the ring to take the ring off.

These are great sizers, easy to use, better than those metal ones you get at a jewelry store. When I lost weight I needed to get my rings resized, instead of the high cost at jewelry store I got these. They're perfect to use on all my large rings, no matter what size, thickness of band. On the days I'm retaining fluids I can adjust them. They feel great, comfortable and cannot be seen due to them being clear. I would highly recommend especially if your weight fluctuates and you don't want the high cost of jewelry store. I would definitely buy these again

Do they work? Yes. Are they comfortable? Not exactly. The round spiral ones work the best and are more comfortable than the clip on one. None of them really grip the material so they tend to slide around a-lot. The varying sizes was very helpful in being able to pick the right size and you trim it down to the size you need. You do still notice that they are on the ring but these are great for if your losing weight and don’t want to commit to having your rings permanently resized yet… so for now they work.

I’m getting older and for some reason my fingers are getting thinner. Not a big deal except that I have 2 rings that I have worn for over 50 years and I would hate to lose either of them. This is an easy solution to the problem It’s easy to put on a ring. How much smaller it makes the ring is determined by how many times you turn the product while placing it on the ring. More turns means a larger amount of the band area is covered and the ring is smaller. It’s a nice temporary solution to too large rings. I have had it on one of my rings for several hours and I don’t even know it there, I recommend this product
