I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because of the total lack of detailed information on adapter dimensions and of any helpful pictorial views, which makes it difficult to determine whether or not they'll work on watches with slightly different dimensions. In the end, after purchasing one set to ensure it worked for me, I did purchase a total of two sets for a couple of Casio watches I own (Casio Tough Solar and Casio PRG-270). Both watches use an 18MM spring bar. These METAL (yay!) adapters are designed for 16MM spring bar watches. While these nato/zulu adapters come with (3) 16MM and (3) 20MM spring bars, the 16MM bars can’t be used in my case. I had to reuse the 18MM spring bars that were already on the watches. To be safe, I also ordered heavy-duty 18MM spring bars, which I ended up having to use because the adapters are a tight fit on the PRG-270 and hard to put on this watch. The original spring bars bowed from the lack of clearance between the adapter and the watch body. You can clearly see some bowing on the bar in my photo showing a close-up of the back of the watch and the spring bar mounting wings. Once installed, however, they are secure. These adapters fit much better on the Tough Solar watch and were also easier to install. The 16MM to 18MM difference isn’t noticeable when viewing the watches from the front. They are compact, match the watch bodies nicely and are comfortable. The ability to use 20MM straps customizes and transforms the watches, breathing new life to them. ... show more

I used these to install a NATO strap on my G-shock 5610. Easy to install with the included tool. I like the look of this better than some of the other adapters out there. It completely eliminates the original band which is very toy-like.

I wanted to wear my Casio G-Shock GW-M5610-1 with a NATO strap because I find them to be more comfortable than resin straps. I have a small wrist (6-inch) and saw that these black matte-painted metal Richie Strap converters were a lot shorter than the other options that were also resin. They look and feel pretty solid. My only complaint and the reason I gave 4-stars is because when I have the watch around my wrist, a small gap appears as the converter lugs flex to fit around my wrist. Even though that is the case, it still looks good and I managed to ignore it because I paired the watch with a black NATO (also pictured) that also has black matte-painted hardware. I got the version without a strap, as I already have tons of 20mm straps of all sorts. I only just got it but so far it seems great. Easy to install, fits the aesthetics of the watch perfectly (I see a lot that are 24mm wide - that would look goofy), and works with a surprising variety of straps. I figured I would use it with nato straps, and I currently am, but I tried it with some two-piece quick release ones in silicone and canvas, and both looked great. Only thing to know on those is the watch with adapters is very long (across your wrist), so you'll be tightening your strap to a notch or two tighter than normal. Exactly what I was looking for to allow natos on my g shocks. Not as bulky as some of the other “adapters” out there. Metal construction and sturdy. Fit is very very good. I have two sets for a DW6900-1V and a DW5600e-1V and fit is perfect on both. Makes grabbing and changing straps a breeze!

Useful for many purposes and fitment issues, my only complaint is the springbars are easily dislodged if you hit it just right. They just have poor tension but other than that it's good. Disclaimer: if you use a watchband compass, the metal from these adapters will throw off your compass, none of mine work with these adapters. ... show more

The Richie metal adapters are outstanding. Not too large, they fit well on my Casio G100. However, I did return the 5 ring NATO strap because it felt entirely too bulky. I really don’t understand what practical/ useful purpose the double strap under the watch body serves. I then found a 20mm 3 ring ZULU strap from another vendor (apparently Richie only sells the 5 ring NATO strap), which fits and functions perfectly. ... show more
