  • Amazing Clarity and Advanced Features!
Color: White Size: 1 Camera Configuration: Floodlight Cam Wired Pro Only
The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is absolutely fantastic! The Bird’s Eye View and 3D motion detection are game changers for home security, providing a detailed and comprehensive view of the surrounding area. I love how it not only captures motion from all angles but also allows me to track movement across my property, ensuring I never miss anything important. The HD video quality is crystal clear, and the floodlights are extremely bright, providing excellent visibility even at night. The camera’s color and night vision are top-notch, making it easy to identify people and objects in the yard no matter the time of day or night. Setting up the camera was quick and easy, and the integration with the Ring app is seamless, allowing me to view live footage, receive alerts, and communicate through the two-way audio feature. I feel so much safer with this camera installed—it gives me peace of mind knowing that my home is under 24/7 surveillance. The motion alerts are highly customizable, and the security light is powerful enough to deter any unwanted visitors. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality security camera with advanced features, I highly recommend the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro. It’s everything you need for superior home protection. ... show more

Always on, easy to set up once hard wired. Impressive video. Much better than the previous rechargeable competitor. Works perfectly with Android.

  • Ring products are the BEST
Color: White Size: 1 Camera Configuration: Floodlight Cam Wired Pro Only
This Ring wired floodlight camera is awesome. It does exactly what I expected it to do, which is always good when buying any product. I do a lot of handyman and diy projects around the house and so I install, wire, remove, upgrade, etc all kinds of products from many different companies. By far, Ring products are the MOST user friendly tech products I’ve ever used. Functionality, viewing angle, night vision, motion sensor, and all other features are great. But to me, the installation process for a wired product couldn’t be any easier. One small feature that is incredibly useful is the little hook they have on the mounting plate so that you can hang the camera/light on the hook and then have both hands to connect the wiring. Simple genius. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent Floodlight Camera
Color: White Size: 1 Camera Configuration: Floodlight Cam Wired Pro Only
This is our second Ring Floodlight Camera. It was left with our former home and we needed to purchase a new one for our new home. One of the things that I found interesting was that the previous version of this camera, once installed, required that we go up on the ladder in order to reset it (due to where it was placed on the garage). With this camera, this is not the case. Once we installed the Ring Chime Pro (with ease) and then set up this camera with the app, it all went very smoothly. My wife stated that there was a firmware update which took about 10 minutes but once that was done, it installed without a hitch. Being that we are former Ring customers, it was a no-brainer for us, to purchase this camera and install it in our new home due to our previous experience wiht other Ring products we had in our former home such as the Ring Security system, Ring Floodlight Camera, Ring Chime, and a Ring Wifi Camera for the interior of our home. We're "hooked" on Ring. PROS: Ring quality, ease of installation, intuitive app CONS: None noted at this time ... show more

  • Pricey, But Good Overall Camera. Seeing Details Such as Faces, Not So Much
Purpose: Hardwired to existing electrical boxes for 24-7 function (as long as you have power). Overall, I don't know why these are pricey. For most people's purposes, good overall camera. Here are some details: Camera Resolution: Pro 2 are 1080P camera resolution, not 4K/8K. Because resolution is not 4K/ 8K, seeing details such as faces from a *distance,* not so great. General images/ video good for most purposes. Why Pro 2: The Pro 2 (2024) is a HUGE difference from older models. If you want decent camera security, pony up and get higher quality (latest versions). I would not consider similar battery-operated Ring 1 cameras because you'll have to change the (lithium) battery, and if the camera is high mounted, this can get annoying. I used hardwired camera to electrical socket from inside the residence. Despite many public claims, small lithium batteries don't last 5 years. Maybe 6 months to 1 year at best, when using 24-7. That is my experience with many lithium battery-powered devices over many years. Ring Pro 2 Flood Lamps: The LED flood lamps on this version creates enough light to light up like near daylight in total darkness. The Ring App: The Ring app is easy to use. You can track all your Ring cameras/ devices from the App. You can also share the app from the master account (registered user) with other family members or authorized persons. ONLY the master account (registered user), can delete videos and change the settings for devices. Using the Ring app, you can also customize the camera to a reasonable coverage area, and adjust it for alerts. This camera even picked up small cats, dogs, and even a small rodent in the middle of the night outside near (covered) trash cans. The flood lamp stays on (you decide how long, how bright or even all night. Adjust it easy from the App). I think it's best for flood lamps to come on when motion is detected at night only. I prefer maximum flood light brightness. No more hiding in the dark from passing strangers. Camera Privacy Note: Make sure your cameras are not covering over your neighbor's private property lines. Also note to insure the (hand-adjustable) flood lamps aren't pointing at neighbors that might keep them up at night. Siren Feature: I have not used the siren yet. I think it will freak out the neighbors. If you have a need for an audible alert such as for a business at night, maybe turn on the siren. Keep in mind anything that comes within the range, will trigger an alert. If you are using the siren, it can alert a lot unless no one is supposed to be in your camera zone (coverage) area. Install: Get someone who understands electrical box outlets (plugs). Power down residence before installing/ touching live hot wires! Ring Help: Toll free help line was helpful when I had some install issues. VPN: VPN is not supported by Ring. If using a VPN (virtual private network), you'll have to turn that app off first before using the Ring app. Then, turn the VPN back on after you're done. I know it's annoying, but if you want to use VPN, this is how to do it. Cellular or Wi-Fi. Ring works on your own WiFi network. Suggest use your cell phone's cellular data and WiFi. If use WIFI only, you won't see alerts until you have WIFI again. Ring Neighborhood Sharing: Not sharing with neighbors because they don't need to be notified when I come and go, and when. Hope this helps. ... show more
