This Rimmel lipstick is the ONLY brand of lipstick that seems to carry this particular color! It’s my favorite shade, and comes close to the #640 I bought in another brand that I used for years until for some unknown reason, it was discontinued. I also like the longevity of this lipstick on my lips, and it doesn’t bleed like some other brands. It does appear to leave my lips a little on the dry side, but it hits all my high points…shine, shimmer, texture, and the paramount, the right color! This shade - amethyst shimmer - is one of the best in the plum category. Very similar to a discontinued Clinique shade. I purchased 1 tube and turned around and purchased two more.

The color and texture of this lipstick is very nice, but the packaging is terrible! It arrived in a package with another item and since the bare tube was not in a box, I almost threw it out. The tube had a white label stuck on it, so now there is sticky goo all over this expensive tube of lipstick. Finally, it took 26 days to get it.
