Description
The RIKON 25-135H 13" Portable Planer combines a 15-amp, 115V motor with a six-row helical-style cutterhead for surfacing rough lumber to a consistent thickness. Its cutterhead uses 26 indexable HSS inserts, each sharpened on two edges so a worn or nicked edge can be rotated rather than replacing the entire cutter. The planer handles stock up to 13" wide and 6" thick. Maximum depth of cut is 1/8" on material up to 6" wide and 1/16" on stock from 6" to 13" wide. Two feed speeds—16 and 26 SFPM—let the operator choose between faster material removal and a smoother finishing pass. A threaded four-post head support, depth gauge, thickness scale, repeat-cut setting, large fold-up extension tables and stock-return rollers are designed to make repeated planing more manageable. The machine also supports both 4" dust-collector hoses and 2-1/2" shop-vac connections through the included adapter.
