Flavor Name: The Whole Shebang
I purchased the whole shebang sampler after watching a YouTube review of some of the flavors. Overall the jerky is fine in texture; not as tender as some other brands but not bad at all. The biltong is super good though. I have tried biltong before and didn't like it much but I really enjoy this stuff. Below is my review of the flavors ranked. 1. Darth Garlic - This one is my favorite. Their biltong has great texture and I love garlic. The YouTube reviewer Alabama Boss did not like this flavor at all so it may be based on how much you like garlic. 2. Baby Blue BBQ - Very great combo of flavors. The sweetness with the habanero and serrano peppers make for a perfect combo. 3. Ancho Villa - Great Biltong texture and good heat. What's not to love? 4. Habanero Escobar - Solid habanero flavor without any distraction. Great stuff. 5. Seoul Survivor - Sweet taste and love the added sesame. 6. Bourbon Franklin - Strong Bourbon flavor with vanilla aftertaste. I don't really like bourbon but I do love the hints of vanilla. If you like bourbon you'd love this. 7. Teriyaki Balboa - cracked pepper jerky is my go-to for things like Jack's Link. This scratches the itch and if you also like Teriyaki it will suit you. 8. O.G. Hickory - Standard flavor of jerky. Nothing mind blowing, but if you prefer a more standard jerky taste it works. 9. Nelson Mandilla - I enjoy the taste of dill and this has a strong dill taste. If you don't like dill then don't expect the cracked pepper to be the dominate flavor. 10. Maryland Monroe - Light on the crab spice flavor. Still good, but I am just like mine more spicy. 11. Truffle-O Bill - Has a hint of...something? I am not sure the taste, but it's fine just not as good as the other flavors. 12. Fowl Capone - While this is last on my list, it's not bad. I do enjoy it, but the basil is a little too strong in my opinion. I prefer hints of basil not full force basil. For the Beef Sticks 1. Fiery Habanero - I am not usually a beef stick kind of guy, but this was delicious. Easily one of my favorite items on the whole bundle. Good spice, good flavor. 2. Al Pastor pineapple pork stick - Taste like el pastor for sure. Good but still a distant second to the Fiery Habanero. 3. Citrus & Basil Turkey Stick - I like the lemon pepper, but still too much basil flavoring for my taste. Not bad though. 4. O.G. Hickory - Standard beef stick flavor. Not really my thing, but if you like normal flavors don't let me stop you. ... show more

Got a variety pack and divided them up between my brothers for Christmas gifts. Kept some for myself. We're all in agreeance, this beef jerky is amazing!! So many great flavors and was very fresh upon arrival.

Flavor Name: 8 Pack Sampler
I prefer a dryer jerky than what is provided here, but that is not the sellers fault. The sample packs had a generous amount of each flavor. The flavors were unique and strong. The habanero flavors were spicy, but not overwhelming. Recommend for those who like strong flavored jerky that is softer.

I love jerky. No seriously. I have stayed in relationships because of jerky. Because of the variety in the pack there are both great flavors and others I still find good. What really impressed me was the meat sticks. If you like slimjims, you should stop. These sticks made me really consider buying just the sticks same day. Good variety of jerky flavors to try I go this for my boyfriend as a stocking stuffer but chose this one because of the gluten free I was pleasantly surprised to see 5 of the 8 were gluten free!

    • Not all are Sugar Free & it still is way too much sugar

I searched for a Sugar-Free Biltong as I am searching for a decent Beef Jerky or Biltong that does not have SUGAR or very little 1 gram if any. I found the Righteous Felon Brand. I saw that on some of the varieties, it says zero sugar, and then below when you view what the product has it says zero sugar on the 8 Variety. I guess I got something different because I paid too much for an 8-count variety to try and all of them have sugar listed. While that would be fine for some I find sugary Biltlong or Beef Jerky to be downright discusting. That is also the case in the variety pack I received. 5 Grams may not seem like much but when combined with a lump of meat, especially a tough meat dried it is just Nasty tasting. I do not understand when the switch to add SuGAR to Everything had to happen it is okay to eat something without sugar. Do not get me wrong I love sugar but in the correct dish or paired nicely with the dish not in your face where you might as well eat sugar cubes and then bite the meat. ... show more
