    • The neat cocktail glass is lovely. The stemware, not so much.

The neat cocktail glasses are terrific little glasses that would work equally well for drinking whisk(e)y neat as they would for cocktails that you want to serve up, but somehow seem like they work better in a stemless glass. Scotch cocktails come to mind. These deserve five stars. I wish I could say the same for the Nick and Nora and Sour glasses. While the bowls of these glasses have an elegant shape and a thin rim that looks like it was laser cut, much less attention seems to have been paid to the stems and the bases. The stems have small, but still noticeable seams. If this was the only problem, I could overlook it, but there are also much more noticeable seams where the stem meets the bowl and the stem meets the base. Despite the beauty of the bowls I have a hard time giving these glasses more than two stars. There a much better options available at similar price points for both Nick and Nora glasses and coupe glasses from Rona's Minners line, and coupe glasses from Urban Bar. ... show more

I am giving this as a gift. I think it will be appreciated because the glasses have just enough cuts to look expensive, but not too many so that the drink itself is hidden. Scotch or bourbon looks beautiful when you can actually see it in the glass - just my opinion, of course.

I was looking for a glass that would feel right with a shot or two of whiskey in it. A shot glass doesn't hold enough, and the whiskey is lost in a rocks/manhattan glass.
