My original seat for my lawn mower was being held together with duct tape which I stuck too when sitting on it. I have had the cover for nearly a year and is not showing wear. The cover fits the over the original seat and the material is comfortable and not slippery or hot. It has a storage place on the back seat, but I’m not sure what to put in it. This cover is definitely worth the price compared to replacing the entire seat.

Fits and looks great but the zipper on the rear pocket wont hold, in fact, came zipped up but had opened up halfway. Zipped open and closed again but zipper let go when I installed it. Not a huge thing but does detract from the quality 1 star. There are three other open-top packets in back, two of which are screen fabric - suppose for storing a cold drink? The color match for the JD tractor is a good match. Not sure I would leave the cover on while trailering - may hold but there's nothing more to secure it other than the elastic hem. Good price point.

This works well as a seat cover when the mower sits outside, though my wife takes it off when she actually mows. She says it's too slippery and she slides off the seat.

Got the seat cover for my John Deere LX 178 fits the seat fine but could use a few improvements to keep the cover position better. For the price I really can’t complain, but I’m sure something better is out there in the same price range.

I like to make my reviews after I've used a product for a while, I've used them for just over a couple of months now, so here is mine. This products quality is fair at best, I say this because after only a couple of mows the stitching is already coming apart along the top of the seat. Plus the one bungee type of tie-down that goes under the seat, is already fraying and clearly won't last. My guess is these (I bought 2 for both of my mowers), will only last me half the season. Still better than being pinched by my old hard cracked seat, but just barely. The other issue is because they are universal fit they don't fit tight, which I'm sure would help. Because by being loose fitting you constantly have to adjust this seat cover because it moves too much, which becomes quite annoying, especially if you need to get on and off the tractor often. I don't really blame the company, after all we should all know by now that "you get what you pay for." Moral of the story, these were cheap and they sure reflect it. To be fair, I believe I work my mowers much harder than most people do. I have almost an acre of sod with many trees and bumpy tree roots to climb over and around. Plus I have some pasture that needs mowing periodically too. So if you just have a small smooth yard I'm sure this cover will last you much longer. Plus, as I said, it's nice to be up off a hard cracked seat.

I have had this seat cover on my John Deere lawn tractor now for over a year and I must say, it has no signs of wear whatsoever. I got it to cover the original JD seat (same color) where the vinyl cover at the base of the back had split and the padding was splitting there as well. The thick seat cover installed easily and has not slipped as all. The back of the seat cover has a zipper pocket and two net pockets that come in very handy. I really like how bare skin doesn't stick to the cover like the vinyl covered seat always did. I just wish I had bought one of these when my tractor was new so I could have kept the OEM seat is pristine condition like my dad did with his 1966 Chevy II. ;-)
