For Soft Steel and nonferrous metals, such as bolts, screws, rivets, and wire, the capacity is 5/16-inch for soft metals. For Iron and steel the capacity is 1/4-inch for medium metals. For Stainless steel, spring wire, heat-treated rod, and reinforcing rod, the capacity is 3/16-inch for hard metals.
