The pursuit Youth features integrated deltoid pads, the z-pad attachment system for increased ease of putting on and securing the shoulder pad, removable/adjustable bodies, extended arches, and woven PP caps and epaulet straps. Although our equipment is designed to help reduce the risk of such injuries, there is no that any injury will be prevented by the use of this equipment.

My son just turned 9, and is approx 50 lbs and 4'3." We bought the size Small pads. I really like the parachute buckles under the arms. He can get them on / off with no problems, and they are not too heavy to burden him while using them. These are great for the Receiver / QB positions. Awesome shoulder pads. These are Quarterback shoulder pads. Don't look any further. They are Riddell Made. Riddell makes the best stuff. I would recommend Wide Receivers and QBs to use these pads. They are not as bulky from the top and the shoulder flap is smaller or shorter, allowing motion. My 8yr old son plays QB and he is able to move around better and throwing without out sacrificing his throwing motion. I recommend. Great price for a great product. ... show more
