These are a great compromise for a sharp looking shoe that doesn’t have my feet screaming by the end of the day. I like to look sharp at work as a classroom teacher, but have to walk around too much for a more traditional leather Oxford. More comfy versions typically look a little frumpy/chunky. These are comfortable AND still look like a traditional Oxford.

You get what you pay for I guess. I’ve worn these shoes in my office for a couple months and they broke just by walking around on the carpets. They broke in a really strange way, I’ve never seen before in a shoe. It’s because the shoes are not constructed the way a high-quality shoe would be constructed. There’s sort of glued together, and the stress points are different from a normal shoe. So as the shoe breaks in, instead of just flexing, apparently it just cracked in the middle of the shoe, at the top of the heel. As a result of the crack, the heel kind of deflated like a balloon, and that’s it I walk around now it makes a whooshing sound. I can wear them home from work, thankfully, but they’re going straight to the garbage. Very strange see photo. It’s too bad because otherwise, it’s a pretty good shoe. I know the shoes are not meant to be repaired, they’re kind of wear them for a year and then throw them away, but I thought I’d get more than just a couple months out of them, wearing them around on office carpets. Buyer beware
