I ordered these wheels because the street I skate on is garbage. I've been using them roughly for three weeks and they feel great. A nice combination between hard and soft so you don't get insane wheel bite from a soft wheel. The reason I gave them four stars is because it turns out there is an odd man out. Three wheels are 55mm (2.181 in when measured) and the odd wheel is a whopping 58mm (2.291 in when measured). I realized this because I switched to a harder wheel on my board (Santa Cruz Slimeballs 54.5mm but roughly 55mm) and compared the two. I thought I was mistaken so I measured the wheels and I was right. This doesn't really affect anything IMO but I am on shaky ground. If you were on a flat skatepark you might notice yourself drift due to the wheel. This also might just be my particular order, but just something to look out for. Wouldn't mind if the company reimbursed me or sent me some different wheels :P ... show more

The only issue is the listing itself. It states these are a durometer of 78a, but they are really 92a as shown in the pictures. Those are what I was looking for so I skipped over these thinking they were 78a at first.

    • Good Wheels for rough street skating

These wheels are pretty nice being between a soft and a hard wheel. I can slide and revert like hard wheels, but still cruise over pebbles and cracks. However, these aren't that different than regular 99a wheels as they are still slowed down from rolling friction. My area is a little rough and windy, so having to push a lot all over town can be tiring. But if you're street skater with alot of experience these wheels are excellent for street and getting through mildy rough concrete. Unlike myself, I am a beginner skating soft wheels from home to school and work so I mostly cruise at the moment. Also note, that these wheels are also bigger and wider than most traditional wheels so I advise buying a size smaller than what you want. I got 54mm's but ended up being a little big since I ride a 7.5 with low trucks. Also, be wary of the bearing hub, as it is made of plastic so you might get a bad pair. I notice serious wheel-wobble when I spin them so be sure to put your bearings in straight or get a replacement. ... show more

Very good wheels for rough grounds in Georgia. Before this I had hard bones wheels which were great for skate parks but not tolerable on other surfaces. If you want to sacrifice some technicality for even a better experience on rough terrain I would even recommend going down to 86a. The wheels wear out faster over time too so getting 56a is fine i ride loose indy trucks on an 8.0 deck and dont get much wheel bites ... show more

I'm an old dude rolling around my hood with my kids while they ride their bikes. I much prefer the 60mm 78as I have. The difference in distance I get in those is much better. I go faster longer by way more than I though I would by going from 60/78a to these 56/92a. Both sets are clouds same bearings. ... show more
