I picked up the RICHER HOUSE 8‑set floating shelves to create a display wall for my Gundam models, and so far they’ve been a pleasant surprise. The finish is clean, the lip on the front keeps items from sliding, and the overall look is modern without feeling cheap. Installation: The shelves come with the typical large self‑drilling drywall anchors. They work, but I recommend using your own smaller, higher‑quality drywall anchors if you want a cleaner install or plan to put anything heavier on them. Swapping anchors made the shelves feel noticeably more secure and reduced the amount of wall damage. Build quality: They’re lightweight particle board, but the paint/finish is consistent and the edges are clean. Once mounted, they sit flush and don’t sag. Each shelf is rated for around 20 lbs, but realistically they’re best for lightweight décor, figures, books, or small collectibles. Use case: I’m currently installing the rest of the set and will be using them to display Gundam kits. The lip design is perfect for models because it keeps bases from sliding forward while still showing the full figure. Overall: For the price, getting eight matching shelves with a clean aesthetic is a great value. Just upgrade the anchors and you’ll have a stable, good‑looking display setup. ... show more
