This lamp is very bright, offering both near-infrared and infrared light. I use it proactively to keep my skin looking youthful. I also find it has an extra calming effect when paired with meditation, helping me to drop right in. Glasses are provided, and while opinions vary, I believe the red light is beneficial for the eyes. I don’t keep my eyes open but prefer the light to penetrate through my eyelids, and I don’t fear it harming my vision. What you see is what you get. The lamp is easy to use and stable. Review of red light therapy light from the Richarm Store LOTS OF LIGHT I have several red light therapy devices, and none of them were cheap. Most of the little at-home units I have put out a minimal amount of light. While I would have preferred if this light were a bit heavier (it's mostly a rather lightweight plastic), it puts out a tremendous amount of light. It should definitely be sturdy enough for its intended use so the weight of it doesn't bother me too much. EYE PROTECTION This unit comes with a pair of red light glasses to protect your eyes from the light. I'm actually going to recommend that you use your own sleep mask if you want to shine this on your face. I tried briefly using it on my face while wearing the included glasses and closing my eyes. Through my eyelids and the glasses, I still saw a light that looked as bright as if I were outside on a sunny day. I don't really feel safe using this without extra eye protection beyond what's included. DOES NOT GET HOT The size of this light and the brightness of it means that you can get good coverage for a lot of body area. Despite all the light, I can leave this on for 20 minutes at a time and it will be warm but not hot. Twenty minutes is just how long I've been using this at a time, I'm not trying to suggest that if you leave it on longer it may get hot. If it's only warm after 20 minutes, I don't think an hour is going to make it hot. ASSEMBLY I think my biggest complaint with this item was that it really could have used instructions on how to put it together. I THINK that the pad goes underneath the stand and then the two rods get screwed together and screwed into the base. I unscrewed the cap on the back side of the light to attach the stand to the light, but I was probably being a bit too cautious and I don't think I had to. There are two included clips that I don't see in any of the product images and I still don't know how I was supposed to use them, but whatever use they were supposed to have seems to be optional.

This puts out a lot of red light. I can't speak as to the spectrum of the red but it fills the room and you feel the heat on your skin. The included glasses seem a bit weak though.

The panel itself is great and puts out a great deal of red light from half the LEDs, and I'm assuming the near-infrared LEDs are also equally powered (but I have no way of seeing or verifying that). The lamp stand was easy and intuitive to set up, and it stays in place exactly where I put it. The cord to use this is very short, so make sure you're near an outlet or an extension cord. Still determining if red light therapy is effective for me, but it doesn't seem to be hurting anything to try.

I am going to start with what I don’t like. The instructions in the box do not discuss eye protection at all. There are some dark sunglasses included in the box, but no instructions as to whether you should use them at all times, only when you are facing the light, and if your eyes allowed to be open with them on, or should you have your eyes closed, with the glasses on at all times. I think that is very important to let your users know and why I dropped it to 3 stars. It would be awful to cause yourself eye damage while using this light. On the brand listing, it does mention using eye protection, and that’s great, if you are looking at the listing. Now, for what I like. The size is o.k. For targeted use. The light is definitely bright and red (although my picture doesn’t show it well). The lamp is adjustable and rotates as needed and also had an on/off toggle on the cord. If you wanted to hang it I don’t know if I would trust the hooks that come with it. There were no instructions to assemble it which was a bit annoying, but I figured it out. I have set this up in our spare bathroom at the edge of the counter and I sit on the toilet top which allows me to face whichever direction I need to. I absolutely use the eye protection with my eyes closed (since I don’t really know how safe it is). I have found a couple of short 5-10 min. Mediations on YouTube to help me time my use. I have no idea if this really works, especially since I have just started using it, but I am hopeful that it does. Like most women, I would love to see an improvement in my skin and wouldn’t mind looking 20 again, but I would also like to see if it helps at all with my shoulder and my foot. I will definitely know with the two latter ones, as they are my two trouble spots. Overall, I am hopeful and if it should work miracles, I will definitely update my review.

I do believe in red light therapy and have seen improvement in my skin over the past six months of use. Of course, this therapy has different results for everyone, but if you use red light theraoy this Richarm 150 LED Panel lamp is an excellent product at a very good price. I have reviewed a half dozen red light lamps and this lamp is the largest lamp and also is very portable. Its size allows me to use our spare bathroom as a therapy room since I can place the light on the counter or hang it above from the ceiling. I do wish that the product pictures included the people wearing their protective eye glasses as they are essential for proper care and use. The lamp does include the needed eye glasses and they are also a bit better quality than other lamps have supplied. I am very pleased with this red light lamp.

I like how well this red light product is to set up. Pros Good construction Nice fit Easy to adjust Comfortable to use Cons Red light did not measure up to the specs advertised. Irradiance measured is just a fraction of what it is supposed to be.
