I am pleasantly surprised by how this cover has transformed my couch. We have been on a mission to refresh our living room and desperately needed new recliners because they had surpassed their useful life. The couch was still in decent shape, so we decided not to replace it right now to keep our budget under control, since we still have a lot more to do with the house that will cost quite a bit. The recliners we purchased are dark brown and the couch being tan/camel was ok, but it was dingy and the cushions were starting to show some areas of depression from being sat on. I must say that adding the cover to match the recliners really makes a big difference. So even if I can't have exactly what I want, I can at least pretend it's new and extend the life of it for awhile longer. I've yet to see how well they do over the course of time and with 2 dogs, but for now, I'm quite happy and will update my review if my opinion changes. ... show more

I was skeptical about getting a cover for my sofa but this impressed me immediately. It fits almost perfect. My only complaint is that when I put my cushions on, the bottom part of the cover rides up. I might be able to fix this with someone helping me but for a one person job I couldn't get the fabric to lay correctly without tugging up near the bottom. Quality is great, color is beautiful, size almost perfect. I think if I had gone with an oversized cover it would wrinkle and be too big and that's what I was trying to avoid. I bought this to be a light gray cover for a very dark red sleeper sofa, and the pastel covers the dark red very well. I don’t know how white would perform, but have no reservations about recommending this to anyone trying to make a dark sofa a lighter color. The manufacturer trusts you to be an intelligent human being; there are two little tags, one for each back seam, that say “BACK.” Other than that there are no instructions. Its very soft and incredibly stretchy, which is good- the main body of the cover goes over the main body of your couch pretty easily- I had no trouble putting it on and adjusting seams, tucking, etc by myself. The seat cushion covers are a tad too small for my sofa, but that’s on me, since I checked dimensions the way we all read the TOS- meaning, I didn’t check dimensions. Now the nap of the velveteen meant that getting the seat cushions back into place by myself without the bottom of the cover lifting up from the front of the couch was inspiring. It inspired me to learn new cuss words. It inspired me to be more regular about my resistance training. It inspired me to do my best to make sure I rarely have to use this sleeper sofa as a guest bed ever again. I think that it’d be a lot less inspiring (and a lot easier) with two helpers to stretch the cover and lift up the backrest cushions while a third person shoves the seat cushion into place. I also think that using fitted bedsheet straps will help keep the front edge down while using the couch. Overall I like how it looks and feels and I’m pleased with it. It’s comfortable, I didn’t notice any “new synthetic” odor. We’ll see how well it holds up to three large dogs, kitten zoomies, and a very lazy fat adult cat. ... show more

The product is beautiful!! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it properly fit my chair, so I didn't even open the sofa cover. No fault of the product, the back of my sofa is not made for covers, no matter how stretchy. I ordered the ottoman, chair and sofa covers and was so hoping they would fit. Since I live in a very rural area returning them is a real hassle, so I'm going to just try to get some of my money back on a swap shop. We have multiple cats, so we've always used sofa covers to protect our couches from fur, scratches, etc. When our last cover tore in the wash, I decided to look for something a little different since we have a larger, overstuffed couch and I was getting tired of always having to fix it and push the single-piece covers back down into the corners every time I stood up. That turned out to be the best decision ever! Because this cover comes with individual cushion covers that go on top of the main cover piece, there's never any slippage and it looks a lot more natural. I went back and forth on this for so long. I was ready to spend a lot more money on a new couch, because the upholstery on mine was looking worn and sad, and I've had this thing forever. As a last-ditch effort, I bought this slipcover and holy cow - the transformation is incredible. I think as long as your sofa has good bones, these will be a great fit. I got the Navy, which looks so expensive in person. The blue is inky and rich, and it's so soft to the touch. They wash great, and are easy to put on. There are some spots where there's bunching from excess fabric, but it's hidden pretty well. Overall, a fantastic purchase. I may even get another color. ... show more
