Just love this ribbon! The color is gorgeous (I believe it was khaki?), it is soft, easy to tie and adjust. Would buy again 100%. It is not real velvet, at least not what’s commonly sold in stores. Honestly, it’s better and prettier- and I’m really picky. Edit: For those complaining of this ribbon leaving a mess- it’s a pretty simple fix… just use a lighter to lightly burn the ends cut and it’s fixed. That’s what I did with no problem. This is not velvet. It’s more like a fancy felt. The edges are unfinished, but were fine / finished/ not too rough and I purchased it specifically because of the 1 inch width and that it was double-sided. My use was for ribbons on a Christmas tree. I purchased both the red and the burgundy colors. Personally, I like the red a lot better than I thought I would, add on top of that the burgundy shed a lot and was a little bit messy, nothing too major that you couldn’t just wipe up, but I noticed the red did not have this issue.
