It worked just as expected. Only four stars because the bulb does not unscrew. It lasts a long time but once it dies if you remove it the wires break. UPDATE: I just ordered and received a new one and it came with the bulb loose in the package. Normally that might seem to be a bad thing but it allowed me to CAREFULLY screw it into the base so that, in the future when the bulb burns out, I can screw in another one instead of ordering a whole new light. Not sure if this was a deliberate action but I would warn anyone who get these that if the bulb is already screwed in they put it in too tight and it breaks the connection if it is removed. A loose bulb is an improvement to this product. ... show more

I bought this to put on top of my virtual pinball machine. It's nice and big, measuring 7" tall. It runs on 120V AC with a quality plug, but the unit itself is pretty cheaply made. The light and mirror doesn't actually rotate around, but instead just the mirror rotates around the light. This still gives a nice sense of a siren effect, but not as good as a true spot light circulating the room. I pulled off the red cover and noticed the screw holding the rotating mirror to motor was lose. I had to tighten it with a screwdirver. I'm glad I opened it up and heightened it as I'm not sure how long it would have worked before coming completely lose and falling off. But, overall for what I paid, this light will work great for my application and therefore was worth the money I spent. 4 star rating. ... show more

Don’t buy it. Very poorly made. This is my first review and I was disappointed enough to finally write one. Plain and simple: Cheap. So cheaply made that not only did it arrive broken (tab on globe and light bulb), it only worked for less than 5 min before the reflector just snapped off when spinning (odd as this is what it’s designed to do). Seems borderline irresponsible for a company to make things so poorly. ... show more

Used this for a Halloween party I had I got a lot of compliments on it, it does have a scraping sound though but when you have music on you can’t hear it I probably wouldn’t be able to sleep at night with the sound in my room though so keep that in mind

It worked fine but it was noisy. I had to re-screw the light flasher back in when I first got it because it was loose and fell apart. (not a big deal) I also wished it was a bit faster or had settings. It worked for what I needed it for and the price wasn't bad.
