It worked just as expected. Only four stars because the bulb does not unscrew. It lasts a long time but once it dies if you remove it the wires break. UPDATE: I just ordered and received a new one and it came with the bulb loose in the package. Normally that might seem to be a bad thing but it allowed me to CAREFULLY screw it into the base so that, in the future when the bulb burns out, I can screw in another one instead of ordering a whole new light. Not sure if this was a deliberate action but I would warn anyone who get these that if the bulb is already screwed in they put it in too tight and it breaks the connection if it is removed.     • Nice big beacon. Not the hghest quality, but great for the price you pay.

I bought this to put on top of my virtual pinball machine. It's nice and big, measuring 7" tall. It runs on 120V AC with a quality plug, but the unit itself is pretty cheaply made. The light and mirror doesn't actually rotate around, but instead just the mirror rotates around the light. This still gives a nice sense of a siren effect, but not as good as a true spot light circulating the room. I pulled off the red cover and noticed the screw holding the rotating mirror to motor was lose. I had to tighten it with a screwdirver. I'm glad I opened it up and heightened it as I'm not sure how long it would have worked before coming completely lose and falling off. But, overall for what I paid, this light will work great for my application and therefore was worth the money I spent. 4 star rating. ... show more

Used this for a Halloween party I had I got a lot of compliments on it, it does have a scraping sound though but when you have music on you can’t hear it I probably wouldn’t be able to sleep at night with the sound in my room though so keep that in mind

Got one of these as a gift when I was about 5 years old and still have it to this day 31 years later. Light bulb finally went out in it the other day when my son was playing with it. So I buy a brand new one for my son. Just arrived today. Plugged it in. Ran for about 30 minutes and the light already burned out. Insane that the old one I had lasted 31 years and had been put in and out of storage and lugged around all over the place. The new one died immediately. ... show more

It worked fine but it was noisy. I had to re-screw the light flasher back in when I first got it because it was loose and fell apart. (not a big deal) I also wished it was a bit faster or had settings. It worked for what I needed it for and the price wasn't bad.

Light was exactly was I was looking for. Great light for the price. The handle on the bottom allows for the light to be hung upside down, which is how I used it. And the on and off switch makes it easy to turn on. It is all plastic and the bulb is included. The light is a really nice large size.
