    • MINI Strobe Light - 3.5" X 2.5". . .but it's nice-and-bright
Make sure you understand that this is a MINI strobe light. The front measures 3.5” X 2.25”. It has a black metal stand. The stand had a hole where you can attach the light to a wall, if you desire, but a screw is not included, if you wish to do that. The power cord is 65” long. There are two knobs on the back. One controls the speed of the flash and the other controls the sensitivity to sound. You do not have to use the sensitivity to sound option, if you don’t want to. There is no way to turn the strobe on/off on the device itself. For that you’ll need to use the remote. The remote is almost 3.25” X 1.75”. You can control off the features with the remote, so you’ll want to make sure you don’t lose it. The remote takes one CR2025 battery, which is included. The instructions are very “limited”. You’ll just have to play around with the remote to see what all you can do with it. Just keep in mind if you have the sound activation turned on. . . .You’ll need to have some music playing for the flights to flash. The item is Made in China. Even though it’s small, the LED lights are quite bright. Currently, at over twenty bucks, I think it’s a bit pricey for what it is. . . but. . . it offers multi-colors. . .has a remote. . . and can be used with sound, so overall I really like it. ... show more

Lucked out with this one, nice strong enough strobe for center my front porch for Halloween. Could probably have 2 more to really punch it up, but this one was great!

    • A small strobe that has good power
Pros: Size - I was impressed with the size. It can be held comfortably with one hand. Power - It really lights up a room. Even during the day it has a noticeable impact when I tested it in our kitchen. Remote - The remote works well and adjusting between color and sound settings is smooth and without problem. Cons: Power Cord length - It requires a power cord and it is only maybe 2 to 3 ft. long. It wasn't a problem for me but you should be aware of this. Remote Control - This is a small thing, but the dark blue and light blue buttons seem to be crossed. When I pushed the light blue button it turns on the dark blue lights and vice versa. Other Microphone feature - This is a feature where the light flashes in response to noises like a song beat or yelling. It works okay. I haven't tested it with a sound system or music but yelling results in what I felt was a mediocre response. You had to yell pretty loud and kind of close to it and it only flashes once. No prolonged light for a held yell. But, with Halloween music, I imagine I will get some good strobe effects going. ... show more

******Update******** I changed my rating to 5 stars due to a recent update. Although my unit failed after 30 days I decided to give it a second chance. JPLOW's customer service is excellent. I now have another unit and it is working just as I expected. I am very happy with this unit. The LEDS are very bright, color patterns are on point, and remote feature provides that ability to make changes on the fly from a pretty good distance. Thanks JLPOW I liked everything about this unit but it did not last more than 31 days. I purchased on 1 Feb 2022 and attempted to use it on 3 March 2022. It didn't work. There is nothing I can do at this point. I missed the 30 day return policy so now I am on the hunt for another one. ... show more

I'm using this as an effect with our Halloween village (indoors). Considering the size of the light, it's very bright and the remote is easy to use. The speed of the strobe is easily controlled by the knob on the back of the device. I'm not using with any sound effects, so can't weigh in on that aspect of the product. I purchased this strobe light in 2021 and set it up on Halloween of 2021. It worked really well! I put a cover in front of it so it wouldn't flash in the faces of the trick or treaters. It really made everything more freaky and scary. When I set it up the next year for Halloween of 2022, it flashed, but not bright at all. All the LED's were worn out. I purchased a fog machine in 2022 to increase the scariness of the strobe, but the strobe did not work. Purchase this if you only need it to work for one night. Anything beyond that, buy something else. ... show more
