I don't often write reviews for products, but in this case, I could not allow anyone else to purchase these cards without knowing what they are getting in to. I understand that these are one of the least expensive options on Amazon for playing cards, and I know that you typically get what you pay for. I purchased my order with this in mind, and must say, when I received the cards, I was STILL terribly disappointed. The packaging immediately tips you off to how poorly made these cards are. The boxes are not even truly cardboard, more like cardstock. The kind of card stock that is rough to the touch and thin. Once you get the cards open, you realize the cards are also printed on a very thin, flimsy card stock. They are advertised as plastic coated, but when you open the deck, the only plastic 'coating' I encountered was the plastic wrap around the deck of cards! Once you pull the cards out of the box, you will find they are undersized and not evenly coated, nor are they evenly printed. Some of the face cards are printed off center, while others seem to have defects (color smudges, dust, etc) embedded into the paper. I bought these as cheapie throw in decks for custom cribbage boards I make, as expectations for those decks isn't typically high. I have decided instead to throw them away, because I do not want the poor quality of these cards to in any way impact or reflect the quality of my products. If you are looking for cards to do ANYTHING with other than use as decorations, I would steer clear of these!

These cards are frankly very cheap cards. I am sure that any body who is looking for a proper deck for playing seriously would look at a more appropriate (and more expensive) deck. However, if you need quite a few decks for an event or as in my case, to use in a crafting project, these may be exactly what you are looking for. The reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the cards are not properly centered, and while I don't mind cheap quality, I think the actual printing on the cards should be accurate. I didn't knock it further because none of the cards (I have opened 4 packs thus far) have been anywhere near unplayable.

Cards were bought for a student project. Though the box itself is 2.5 x 3.5”, the card itself is actually smaller by 1/8” on both length and width. This makes the card itself smaller than the standard size poker as well as standard bridge card. The weight of the card is also very light and flimsy. It is less sturdy than the standard bicycle brand and even 99cent store card. So to a certain extent, there is inaccuracy in that the dimensions are by the box and not the card itself. This would affect the outcome of the project. Return was requested to obtain a more standard size and sturdier card. See picture. Overlap and side by side comparison shows standard poker card underneath still bigger. Weight difference is also obvious just holding it in palm of hand.

For the price of $7 for 12 packs of cards, you really can't beat these. I got them as party favors for our annual 500-guest elementary school party and while they are definitely NOT Bicycle playing cards, they are all printed well enough and they definitely work as playing cards. They ship in small thicker than cardstock boxes with six red and six blue inside. The colors don't always match - I have ordered over 25 of these boxes and there seem to be two shades of red and two shades of blue, which didn't matter for what I was doing. Each package has only one shade of each, however. Anyway, love these. If you're thinking of getting multiple dozens for an event, I can't recommend these enough.
