The pics attached are after a full day in July in Florida outside at the beach, sweating, wiping, blotting, and I am fully impressed. I usually use IL Makiage and Lancome, which are great for cold climates but seperate in hot himid climates. I had to find something that wouldn't seperate on my face after sweating all day. As you can see I have mature skin, wrinkles, and large pires on my nose. I always have issues on my chin (because on touch it allot) and my nose because of my pires and where my glasses sit. But with Revlon 24hr wear it didnt seperate or rub off where my glasses sat, my chin, nose and forehead, still had makeup on after a full day of sweating, rubing, scratching, eating, and trying on hats. It didnt rub off on my hands or my clothes. The secret, I noticed, is to have a clean dry face, I applied with a beauty sponge, let dry, then put setting powder on top to finish. These pictures are unedited, raw, flaws and all so you can see what kind of skin this works on. I have normal skin, not oily and not dry, and I chose the lightest they had available because of my skin tone, and I have redish/pink undertones, and this color worked perfect. I have used this make up for years. In the summer I need a darker color in the winter a little bit lighter. I have extremely oily skin and have found this make up stays on very well even working outside all day, going to the beach, the water park, etc. it covers very well, has sunscreen, and is easy to remove at night. The foundation itself is exactly what you expect for combination/oily skin, if you tend to be more on the oily side I would definitely recommend buying a powder to top it off. I have more combination, it’s done great helping the dry patches on my skin and I haven’t seen any break out from it so far. Big downside though is it unfortunately reeks of foundation scent. It was the first thing I noticed, after about an hour or so it gets better, or you just get used to it lol. There’s definitely better foundation out there, but if your expectations aren’t through the roof and you are on a budget this is a good option. It’s long lasting as well. ... show more

I bought this foundation and I received a different packaged product than the one that is shown in the pictures. I still tried the foundation and i'm impressed with how well it held up throughout the heat, it stayed on all day I was just a little shiny after a few hours on my nose but that happens with any makeup product I use.     • Better than KVD lock it and MAC prolong wear

First, about me: light to medium skin tone, neutral undertones, 30 years old, female, combination/oily (mostly oily in T-Zone), acne prone (mostly hormonal), and I experience redness by my nose and cheeks. What I was looking for in foundation: medium/buildable coverage, controls oiliness, long lasting, doesn’t transfer, doesn’t budge, doesn’t settle into my pores or lines. What I have tried: - MAC prolong wear nourishing waterproof foundation in color NC27 — this color was great for the winter/early spring. It matched perfectly and didn’t oxidize. However, it did a terrible job with controlling my oiliness & shine. After a full day, it started to fill my pores and lines on my forehead. I was not even going to test it’s waterproof ability because it was just sitting on my face and would wipe off with just a light touch. Perhaps it just needs a good setting powder or spray (which I have not found yet). - Kat Von D Lock-it foundation — Um, this was a joke. The colors are not great. I tried two (I used online tools to find the right shade) and one was too yellow. The other was actually fine, but I had already tanned quite a bit by the time it was delivered, so it was a bit on the lighter side. I tried this product several ways, with and without primer, with and without setting spray, with and without setting powder... this product just will not “lock” down. It just sat on my face and was so much worse than the MAC. It was so disappointing. I almost feel like KVD means well, and the models on the site are diverse, but her products are just not meant for all skin types. I’ve definitely tried other products, but I wanted to mention those two because they kept popping up on my search for foundation and they are on the higher end of my budget. Finally, I came across this product: Revlon ColorStay for combination/oily skin. I’m not sure what you are looking for, but here is what I love about this product! This goes on so easily, smoothly and lightly, but with medium coverage that I can easily build. It looks so natural! It definitely controls my oily skin. There is a bit of shine after 10 hours, but I don’t look oily. If it bothers me, I just blot a little and it stays matte for even longer. Regardless of whether I use primer, or setting spray/powder, it does the same job! I love it! I got it in the color 310 Warm Golden, which is actually a perfect match. However, in case you didn’t catch on before, I tan very easily, so I just ordered it in Rich Tan. This foundation does not budge and I haven’t had any dramatic transfers like I’ve had with the other two products that cost almost 5x more than this product. I definitely recommend this for everyday use. I have not had any breakouts and I love that it has SPF. It feels natural and I forget I’m wearing makeup. I think this product went on best when applied with a brush with micro bristles (I ordered this flawless foundation brush on Amazon for about $7). One more thing, I have textured skin (pock marks from acne), and at first, I tried to use more product to fill it in, but it didn’t work. However, over time during the day, my skin looked flawless! One thing I did not like, but I’m willing to live with: for some reason it fills my pores a bit on my chin. I don’t know how to fix that other than to touch up or blot, but I have been searching for so long for something that I really like, I’m willing to hang on to this one.
