This gloss has a nice subtle scent that reminds me of coconut and cakes... It's hydrating, which I didn't expect, so I was pleasantly surprised by that. It also is not terribly sticky like most lip gloss. The color (almond suede) is not super opaque but still shades your lips to a nice balance of sheerness, gloss and color. The plumping claim is a joke though. There's barely a cooling effect at all and it did not plump anything. Even still, I'd buy it again just as a lip gloss. I also purchased this in the number 5252. I find that this color on top of the 5252 provides a very lovely contemporary, nude color. It has the added benefits of the plumping. And you can’t beat the price. I do wish that the applicator was a bit easier to use maybe with a bit of a sponge. The gloss tends to spill out a bit too fast sometimes. The color is uneven, smears and is very goopy. The rich bordoux is not any sort of red at all like the picture hints at. It's brown, like a cheap chocolate bar brown. The tube is tiny too. I just got this in and tried it. It goes on so smooth and it’s thicker than most regular lip glosses so the color is very pure. I’m ordering more to make sure I have plenty because it’s something I will use every day.
