I ordered the gold and red and the colors are fantastic. The gold is a dark yellow, which I was hoping for, so it's not really gold. I was worried this cape might be too thin or not made well, but it's actually a great cape! The material is not thin and it's the perfect length. The neck has Velcro to keep it on, but I am thinking it might slip back and feel tight, so I may try to use a safety pin to attach it to my shirt to keep it from slipping back, which I suppose is unavoidable. Wore these at a superhero themed 5k. They were fabulous and everyone loved them with our costumes. They weren't too hot during a June morning run and they didn't turn a weird color when sweated on. Nice product for the price. Nice satin-ish material, and not see-through like some other brands. The velcro on neck can be a little itchy, but not a big concern. We bought 5 (each a different color: Red, Pink, Pink/Purple, Blue/Black and Blue/Red) for a trade show (trade show theme was superheros) and we had no problem with the neck size. (we had 3 guys with 17, 16-1/2 and 16 inch necks, and 2 ladies with smaller necks). I would have liked the capes to have been about 2 or 3 inches wider and maybe 2 or 3 inches longer, but they worked fine as is (men are size 42R and 40R men's suits) The were even better on the women working in our booth, because they had smaller frames than us guys. People coming to the booth wanted to put these on for pictures. Everyone had a great time with them, and they did not rip. ... show more

The neck is a little tight. It could use a little more material. I'm a 5'3" woman, so if you're a guy with a large neck, plan on either extending it, or safety pinning it to your shirt.
