I use up to a full bottle at every oil change, 5,000 miles. I add it in when the oil in cold. Then run engine for at least one hour at operating temp. I use this to help offset any oil dilution issues that may arise from too much turbo boost and fuel pressure in cold weather start ups. This is a proven issue with my engine series. As for all the catalytic converter clogging "myths". I have runs this stuff for 40,000 miles. 35 miles to work, 35 miles home from work with a pretty aggressive driving style. I have been told this keep the catalytic converter hot keeping it from clogging. I have had ZERO issues with anything related to engine oil or the catalytic converter. Also I would like to add, in my personal opinion I believe Zinc and Phosphorus were lowered in modern-day engine oil to make the engines have a shortened life span to sell more cars. ... show more

if you have an older car. You need this item after doing an oil change. Most newer cars don't need this additive. But you need this item after an oil change in an older car. (Zinc)

    • Will is save my 2019 Titan?
Found my 2019 Nissan Titan is on the TSB list for eventual piston slop/rock. Happens moreso to those in the North, which is me. Not a daily driver, so have only 20K miles, so it will be long out of warranty if/when it happens to me. Hoping this prolongs the inevitable...fingers crossed!

    • Older vehicles need it with oil change
If you have an older vehicle, you need to add zinc to your oil. Newer oil blends do not contain the zinc additive.
