I've owned a few of these over the years. Some expensive some cheap. This is one of the cheaper ones and one of the best, of not the best. It cuts close enough to be effective in the nose but not so close that it can cut you. The eyebrow attachment works good. Overall, it does a great job and is everything you need at a nice price.

This is a pretty good value for ten bucks. Most other trimmers seem to be at least a couple dollars more expensive and don't always have both the eyebrow and nose trimmer attachments along with the general trimmer function. And not all come with the battery included. I also really like how the trimmer is double sided. Makes certain tasks a bit easier without having to flip it around to come at the hair from the other angle. I also like how you can open/close the blades quickly and easily for cleaning. However, to me, it underperforms a bit in how close it trims. I've used a different trimmer, the Wahl Micro Groomsman, for years but decided to give this one a try since the Wahl product is generally more expensive and usually stops working sooner than I think it should. This Remington trimmer doesn't seem to cut quite as close as the Wahl. The Wahl trimmer sounds and feels a bit more powerful and seems to allow me to better get that close trim that I want. So, I ultimately bought another one of the Wahls. That said, I still use this product, too. The eyebrow and nose trimmer functions seem to work just as well as they do on the Wahl, and I don't always need a super close trim on my face. Plus, the double blade feature is nice and this trimmer is a little quieter. In terms of form, this one has a thicker, heavier handle, which feels good in the hand. But the Wahl is skinnier so will take up a bit less space. The Wahl product also has a cap to put over the blades when not in use while this item does not. In terms of durability, I don't know how this will do. I'm hoping it lasts longer than the Wahl, which I feel like I replace once every 2 or 3 years. All in all, I like this product, especially at the price, but I can't give it 5 stars since it just doesn't trim as closely as I'd like.

I had high hopes for this trimmer, but ultimately was very disappointed. First, the cutting teeth on the detail trimmer are so small that they can't cut most hairs. I tried using it to trim both hair and eyebrows, and it hardly made a difference because most of the hair strands were left uncut. It mostly just pushed the hairs around without cutting them. Second, its power switch is a twist-on switch at the bottom of the unit, which means you have to turn it on using two hands and leave it running all the time while you're trimming. This might sound like a minor thing, but in addition to being plain inconvenient, what this does is make the cutting blades (both detail trimmer and nose/ear trimmer blades) quickly warm up via friction to the point where the blades get very hot to the touch and can potentially burn you. My other trimmer uses a thumb-operated on/off switch ergonomically located to perfectly match the average hand, and the difference is enormous. So overall I'm exceedingly disappointed with this item.

I'm a dude that likes to keep his nose hairs, ear fuzz, other spots, and ear line nice and neat. This is one of the best you can buy for the price. I don't even use the nose guard that they send with it, just the blade. This trimmer is nice because it's waterproof and doesn't irritate or cut your nose up like others. I've bought several of this specific trimmer over the years. The last one lasted me two years, I dropped it right on the tip and it broke just the other morning. Either way, for you trim enthusiasts......I recommend it.

Probably the worst purchase I ever made on Amazon. After 4 weeks the trimmer totally ceased working. Attempted everything to get it working again with no luck. 30-day return window for Amazon had just passed so I had to go through the manufacturer. Once I finally got to speak with someone they told me I had to email them with certain documentation, which I did. The first response was: "Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about your experience with our product. In order to further assist you, please provide a clear picture showing the production date code. Attachments or photos can be sent through reply to this email. Creating a separate email may cause delays. Please reference your ticket number." I sent the information requested. The next email from them was: "Thank you for the requested information. The on/off switch is integrated into the battery cap. Rotate the battery cap clockwise to turn on. We apologize for the inconvenience. We suggest contacting Amazon and following their return policy for a possible unit replacement as the unit is covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee. Products purchased from our retailers are directly handled by them. If they are unable to assist, please let us know." My reply was If they had read through the initial inquiry and the email threads they would know that the product worked for a short period and that they could deduce from this that I know how to turn it on! The issue is that it no longer works because it is defective. Also advised them that if they done their own legwork instead of me, the customer, having to do it for them, they would know that the Amazon return period ended 30 days (not 60 as you have stated) from the date of the order. I also pointed out that I had noted in my earlier correspondence that Amazon would not process the return which is why I reached out directly to them per Amazon’s instructions. Their next email was, again, totally unresponsive: "Thank you for the updated information. Please ensure the trimmer is being cleaned after each use." This was followed by cleaning instructions. When I advised that it had been regularly cleaned and still did work, they told me to return it at my own expense. This was accompanied by return instructions which were crazy: "If you purchased from a retailer, please include a copy of your proof of purchase. Inside the package please include a letter with your name, address, phone # and Indicate if you would like a replacement or a refund. Please put the copy of the proof of purchase and letter into an envelope and tape it to the top flap of your box" Bottom line is that, not only is the product a piece of junk, the company's customer service consists of responses generated by AI which are not responsive to the problem at hand. STAY AWAY
