What a fantastic surprise! For almost exactly 1 year, I have used these bags to tote around 1-liter water bottles on a daily basis for a short distance. I had not expected them to last long, as the material feels pretty flimsy โ€“ it's similar to those recycling bags people use to tote groceries. However, I've been surprised at how long they have lasted. The only problem has been with the stitching, NOT the material itself, which has never torn. About 3 months into my daily usage, I noticed that the stitching on the corners was starting to unravel from the stress of hauling a total of 1-1/2 gallons around. I decided to fix only three of them and see how long the 4th would last without intervention. I hand-stitched the corners using a more durable, nylon thread. I only reinforced the stitching on the first inch or two from the top. The bags that I stitched up have held up extremely well. It's only recently that I've seen those stress points start to come undone again. I would bet that, without any intervention from me and my needle, those bags will probably last another 3-6 months. The bag that I did not stitch up has unraveled at two of the corners. Also, the center material, which divides the interior into 6 compartments for bottles, detached from the rest of the interior grid. Now the bag has 4 compartments for bottles, and 1 larger section that lacks the structure to support a bottle without it falling on its side inside the bag. The two pictures I have here demonstrate the corner stitching that came undone after >3 months, and the detached interior material that formed a 6-compartment grid, and which detached after >9 months of use. Bottom line: If you reinforce the stitching at the stress points (the 4 corners and the internal grid), these bags will last for over a year of daily usage across short distances. If you don't reinforce the stitching, you can probably count on 6-months of daily usage. ... show more

I bought them to carry my wine while moving. There is one bag thatโ€™s very sturdy but the rest of them are just good enough to carry 6 bottles, not as sturdy as that one bag. And one of the bags was torn a little. But, well, it did its job.
