Honestly, anything from the Delta brand is fantastic. The toy box is perfect and my son likes to use it to lift himself up, it doesn’t tip or move. Fits his toys perfectly too. It is smaller than I anticipated but that’s not an issue for me, makes it versatile so it fits anywhere. 10/10. I don’t have an opinion on how easy it is to build.     • Strong smell and no labeling of pieces

Pros: Needed a small toy chest for my grandchildren's board games/card games. Great size for intended use. Strong enough for my 7 yo granddaughter to sit on, for short periods. Well packaged. No dents, scratches or dings in any of the pieces. Larger screws into threaded locking cam nut is nice. The lid does close softly, great for little fingers not getting smashed. Cons: Unbelievably strong smell. Do not know if it is a polyurethane coating used or some agent to preserve the paint but it will bring tears to your eyes. Should gas out within a few days. There are only a few pieces to assemble, a couple of which already have the dowel pins in place; however, none of the pieces are marked with the appropriate letter as marked in the assembly instructions. The blown out views of each step allows for self-explanatory assembly but for those not as savvy, might find this difficult (I assembled this while watching an episode of The Office with my husband. An extra set of hands will be handy when attaching the safety hinge.) No extra hardware included. Do not like this at all. So if there is stripped threading, you will be one less screw/lock cam nut. Also, if over time, one becomes loose or faulty, do not have replacement screws, especially those anchoring the safety hinge, which brings me to my next point. The lid does not open near as far as I would like. I did not expect it to open completely but it's restriction is less than ideal, as is the amount of room required for the safety hinge when the lid is closed. I am also wondering about the longevity of the safety hinge but time will only tell with that. I got this when it was on sale for $39 so although there are complaints, I feel ok with what I spent. Had I paid full price, would be less than happy. Overall, was looking for a small sized toy chest - delivered. Enough room to fit board games - delivered. Easy to assemble (for me) - delivered. No damage to pieces and no chipped paint - delivered. ... show more

We got the green, "mint", colour is very true to the pictures on the Amazon page. This is heavy-weight quality furniture. Nothing thin, chintzy or flimsy here. Very good hardware and lid hinges & spring-loaded stay. Lid is very securely held open when up. Strong enough to sit on when closed. Attached a pic of a toy inside as frame of refernce for interior size, roomy! Built-in handles, easy to move. And very easy to assemble. Minutes with a simple screwdriver. This was designed and built with safety in mind. Happy with purchase. Would recommend and definitely buy again 👍 ... show more

We got this little chest to use as a costume box for our kids. It was easy to assemble and is a sturdy, nice looking toy chest. Checks all the boxes of functionality and doing what we need it to do. The only real downside to the box is the SMELL. Good god the smell is strong and very long lasting. We are nine months in and can still smell it when opening the chest. I would highly recommend letting the box air out outside or in a garage for as long as you can before starting to use it. We left it outside for three or four days and it definitely helped, but if we could have left it out for longer I would have. Great little chest, but beware the smell. ... show more

This took about 15 minutes to put together. Very easy the spring on the hatch is a little too strong so the top always wants to stay open I’m hoping it will stretch out over time so it will stay closed without having to put something on top of it but still this is a cute little chest.perfect for baby gear. ... show more

Exactly what I wanted, big enough to store some toys in our living room but not too big that it doesn’t take up too much space. The lid opens and you have to push down to close it so no pinched fingers! So cute and easy to assemble!
