I love everything about this toy box! It's super cute and matches so well with my sons nursery. It's a decent size and plenty of room for all of his toys. Seems like just the perfect size for him to access his toys and sit on the bench as he gets older. I am having the problem of the lid staying open, however it shuts no problem when you put the seat pad on top. Not sure if it's supposed to do this or if we did something wrong. Assembly was fairly simple, but time consuming. It took my husband about an hour to set this up. ... show more

this is an overall great toy box. it's pretty easy to assemble. it's a sturdy toy box and heavy. i love that the top will stay up and not slam down. the only cons I have is that the screws for the hinges are not aligned, the top keeps opening even though we did everything correctly. when we put the pillow on top though it stays down, haha it's funny. we also didn't get the stickers for our little ones name. but it looks great the way it is. ... show more

This is a great toy chest and bigger than I expected. Few things to know about assembly: wood or hot glue will be required. The package came with everything I needed but glue was necessary for some parts. For example, the holes for the wooden pegs are a little too big so used glue to hold them in place. Some of the holes for the screws are stripped, as you can see in the one picture, I had to use glue because the screws wasn’t sturdy in place. I have it propped open like that because the glue has to dry and I need it to dry in place. The back panel comes in two pieces so consider using glue to secure the top piece of the back panel. The chest took maybe 8 hours to assemble and that was because I had to wait for the glue to dry before moving on. A great product and I can definitely see it being used for years to come! ... show more

My husband went to put the toy box together for our grandson and the place where a dowel goes through was super thin from where the manufacturer drilled the hole. So it left a large chip in the side. It was extremely easy to assemble, and we loved the easy close lid where it wouldn’t slam shut and smash little ones fingers! Definitely recommend if you have kids that have lots and lots of toys but not enough storage! The kids definitely love to sit on top of it and watch tv or us read them books!

I love how it fits in with my living room, makes it look a lot nicer than the cheap one i had before. In order for it to close you must force it down by yourself, so i like that bc my kid likes slamming things if she can. The little bench is perfect for her & her friends to sit on & read a book. The space on the inside is just right for all her toys (she has a crap ton more in her room) that she keeps in the living room. I didn't build it but my child's Aunt put it together, it was fairly easy but she did need another person to help. We won't be using the sticker's bc i like to give my things away to those who can't afford much so if in the future she grows out of it, we can give it to someone else. ... show more
