Loaded with games including the original consoles like Atari, and many manufacturers. What surprised me was the games from PlayStation models, Nintendo models, and other well known models. The only thing that's a learning curve for me, although not a hard one, is the included PlayStation (wireless) remotes. I've been using Xbox controllers for over a decade. They take aaa batteries. The retropie even automatically configured my Xbox remote, but I want to use the new paddles to learn something new. It's been a breath of fresh air, and yet a blast from the past. ... show more

We have had our console for a few months now and we are so thrilled about our purchase! Totally worth it! We have had so much fun playing all of the games! It has been awesome playing old school games that we haven't played since we were kids! Excellent customer service and fast shipping!

When I turn the system on it has a black screen and starts to smell. Have tried to contact the seller with no response back. Do not recommend this product

This machine is a MACHIINNEEE! By far the most thought out and well designed retro machine. This company really took some time and effort to design the User Interface. Customer service is also quick to reply. Someone said this is the Cadillac of retro arcade and that is 100% true. Worth the money.

    • Support Is Absent
*** UPDATE 3-28-2024 *** It took a while but, Leo rectified every issue that I had (see below) which, I definitely appreciated. They made good on their end and that’s all I can ask for. Given how Leo handled this, I would and will be buying from them again. Thank you, Leo! Support went M.I.A. One of the two wireless controllers will not charge - ** No response from support ** They were supposed to send out two new wireless PlayStation 2 style controllers do to earlier issues but never did (explained below) - ** No response from support ** The system crashes often causing all game progress to be lost…. This has happened multiple times - ** No response from support ** Asked how to back up the system since it crashes so often - ** No response from support ** When I first received this and turned it on, it was amazing to see the old games I remembered as a kid. Then, when playing PAC-Man, the left joystick would pop up a menu in the middle of the screen if you put any downward pressure on it. Using my left thumb on the joystick to control PAC-Man, it’s impossible NOT to put any downward pressure on it so, it made playing the game impossible. I figured it had to be how the controllers were configured so, I contacted support. They responded right away and said they didn’t experience the issue so, they were going to send me two Playstation 2 style wireless controllers. I thought, wow! The support team responded so quick. I had a great feeling about my purchase. Then I asked if they could just tell me how to change the controller input configuration to see if that would fix it. They gave me vague instruction but, the input configuration options didn’t match the controllers so, it was a bit confusing, to me anyway. Ultimately, I screwed up the input config and asked them how to reset the controller config. ** No response from support. ** I eventually figured out how to reset the controller input config myself which, did fix the issue I was having with PAC-Man but, still have not heard back from support. When the first controller I used ran out of battery, I put in on the charger and nothing. It will not charge. I used the second controller and, when it needed recharging, I put it on the charger and it charged with no problem. Both controllers are identical. Same model just different colors. I emailed support about the one bad controller that won’t charge. ** No response from support. ** I then sent an email about the system crashing fairly often, if that was normal and if so, how I can back up the system incase it completely fails. ** No response from support ** I then asked about the two PlayStation 2 Style wireless controllers they said they would ship to me early on but still have not received. ** No response from support. ** In short: The games are really cool and look just how you will remember The console itself is unstable and crashes often and without notice so, save your game often or you’ll end up starting your games over……, over and over again. Support is unresponsive, don’t follow through with their commitments, don’t seem to know much about how the system operates from a technical perspective so, if you purchase this, assume you’re on your own and have to resort to YouTube to get any help and find any answers should you experience the same issues I have. This could be an amazing product. They just need to either train or replace their support staff and instill in them the importance of communication and customer service.     • Its glitchy and all the games dont respond to the controllers
Overall its cool. I just opened it and plug it in today after about an hour of fooling with it. It has a lot of games. All of them dont respond until you load and reload them a coupe of times. It took 4 reloads for pac man to work or maybe its the cheap wireless controllers. I wish it came with more set up instructions or video to watch. You pretty much on your own to figure it out. Couple of the games were real glitchy.Im talking on the first screen,The controls are not great.Im probably going to have to buy more expensive controllers but what and which kind I dont know. There is a lot on the configuration menu that you wont understand so best to leave that alone. I wish It had better instructions, better controllers and not so glitchy. I wish it had a search feature so you could locate the games you want without scrolling thru endless lists of games . some of the games wouldn't play at ..like Galaga ..shocking cuz that is a fairly old simple game. Not worth $400 maybe $250. I bought this version because it was the most expensive figured it would be the highest quality. Revised review : ok ..i got in touch with the maker RetroGamesHaven. I must say ..excellent response . I emailed and got response like the next day. Very Helpful, even offered to give me the new upgraded chip for the Pie. They are a great company and stand by their product. Im much more happy and hopeful about this console. it has a lot of games ! ... show more

I paid a little more for this than some of the cheaper versions but glad I did this thing is incredible. If you like retro games this is the Cadillac.
