So first and foremost if the visor that they provide is cracked that should raise red flags that they're not doing quality control, which brings me to a DOT rating, a DOT rating is done by the manufacturer not the DOT itself. The DOT sticker itself is a cheap knock off. According to the NHTSA website the requirements for the DOT helmet sticker itself is it has the manufacturer/brand, then below that the model of helmet, then below that DOT, then below that the FMVSS no 218 certified. If you want to wear it just for the looks that's on you, if you're expecting a $30 helmet to protect you in an accident and that they actually did the testing even though they have a bogus sticker please don't be fooled. Get yourself a helmet that Snell or ECE 22.06 approved if you're looking to actually protect yourself. ... show more

This helmet is absolutely beautiful, yes there’s a few cracks in the decorative visor but all the features work perfectly. The helmet is comfortable and it looks and feels way more expensive than it is . Best of all I can wear my glasses with the flip down visor. This helmet is a steal.
