The most significant issue with these is the receiver is of very poor quality and has trouble keeping a channel locked and is nosier than it should be. Transmitting power varies in actual output per analyzer. Not a big deal if your closer to each other. Easy to program, however some of the radios don't always take the programing on the first attempt. even tried with two different programing cables. LED light is too bright in low light conditions and on scan becomes a green blinking distraction. Basically these are low budget radios and you really do get what you pay for and can be easily out performed by other lower budget brands. I have six radios with chargers and a six bank charger, Probably going ebay or market place them. I grew up with Batwings so its hard for anything to compare to them. ... show more

The UHF 10W radios are easy to operate, have clear sound and pretty good range. While traveling in vehicles, we get reliable communication out to about 1.2 miles.

Battery last about two days under normal use. I find radio is built well, I dropped radio once. No damage to radio noticed Speaker is great. Transmits very well.

Can’t give a fair evaluation on the radio. Ordered 3 of them and two have the same channels and can communicate with each other. The third one has a completely different 16 channels and can’t communicate with the other two. I reached out via email to the manufacturer since they are in China, they asked for an order number and where I bought them, I replied within hours to there request.... No reply from them in a day so I emailed back about some assistance. They replied with a “we’re sorry we’re on a Chinese 5 day holiday” and that they would get back to me.... that was 7 days ago?? So I purchased the programming cable and will try and solve this myself. The radio itself seems heavy duty and has to be expected features. ... show more
