I’ve been wearing clear post-orthodontic mouth guard-like retainers for the past 7 years and have used the same old other-brand retainer cleaner. It just wasn’t cutting it or through the stains and buildups even with soaking over night and scrubbing with a dedicated toothbrush. Then there was this gem. It literally wiped the stains and buildups away with one use after soaking overnight!!! Mind you, I brush and floss every night before putting on my retainers but those pesky plaques keep finding ways to stain my retainers. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. Overall great product! I wanted to try this because the other brand I was using left my retainers tasting terrible. It didn’t matter how much I washed them off. They tasted like chemicals. I am glad I tried this brand because it cleans my retainers better and it doesn’t leave a bad taste on my retainers. The price is affordable for a better retainer cleaner. I have a retainer I wear at night to help with a tooth gap. I've been wearing it for about 6 months and frequently using my tooth brush to clean it but it still had a weird build up on it. So I decided to try this product and it totally exceeded my expectations! I put a tablet into a glass cup with one cup of water and tossed my retainer in for a few hours.
