Description

How to Use the DenSureFit Upper Denture Reline Kit. Most people require 2 silicons applicators to get snug fit on the upper denture. The full kit is used to get a great initial fit. What is the extra silicone and Snug-Up Tip for? Even when someone gets a great initial fit with DenSureFit, some people will get loose a few days or weeks later. What Might Cause a Denture to Get Loose After a Reline? Loosening after a soft reline can occur as a result of: Shrinking of gums (typical with those in their first 18 months post- extraction) Reduction of inflammation (gums can become inflamed without you being aware of it from hitting/rubbing of the gums on hard acrylic, especially when eating; medications; other situations) What is a Snug-Up Application? It is not always necessary to remove and reapply your DenSureFit liner when your denture loosens. More silicone may be applied over the existing liner around the middle of the wall/trough area to fill the new void and snug the denture back up again. This is called a Snug-Up application. The Snug-Up procedure is located in the instruction booklet. Note: The silicone liner must be in good condition and bacteria-free to add more to it. If it is not in good condition, it needs to be removed and start from scratch again. Good condition means that it is being properly soaked/cleaned in a denture cleanser daily; is not lifting; does not have tears). How to Use the Extra Silicone Applicator and Snug-Up Tip If your denture is very loose, you can use the entire applicator of silicone all at once for a Snug-Up. Save the Snug-Up Tip for future use. HALF NOW….HALF LATER! Or, instead of waiting until you get very loose, you can apply ½ of the applicator of silicone when you are a little loose (one line of silicone around the wall or trough of the denture) following the Snug-Up instructions in the booklet.

  • Thank you Mike Rowe! It is better than it advertises!
One of the better things I’ve done lately is get caught up on Mike Rowe’s Podcast, The Way I Heard It. I can’t really remember if this company was sponsoring him or it was just mentioned on an episode but I figured I’d give it a shot! I have a complete upper denture due to a car accident. I have been fooling with glues of all types for a few years now. It was a bit pricey but I figured what the heck? It may work. So after I got the DenSureFit upper aligner I followed all of the steps and popped those pearly whites in! HOLY SMOKES!!! It’s a life changer! I can take them out and pop them back in anytime I want. The aligner is so soft it cushions these choppers and they feel like a pillow in my mouth. I don’t know how I made it with glue?! It’s so great, I bought some for my 93 year old grandma! The packaging and/or instructions say it’ll last 3 months or so. I made it 6 months without any trouble and it was still a booger to get off of there! I highly recommend this! ... show more

  • Den tu fit
It works. Make sure you use a decent amount of primer. I believe it takes a minimum of 2 tubes and it can be done within the allotted 15 seconds. Make sure you use your thumb to set the denture. The main thing is the trimming off of the flashing! You must be careful when cutting yo not stretch the media you want to stay. Hawk ... show more

  • Updated review!
Updated again- Day before yesterday (In the evening) I received a call from a very nice man that works for DenSureFit. I was rather surprised at how nice and helpful he was (I honestly wish I had written down his name so I could include it so that he could get credit for how helpful he was, I hope the company sees this and finds out who he is and recognizes him for being so helpful). Anyways, he sent me a full new kit after explaining my prior issues and told him about how I am using temporary dentures due to just having my teeth pulled a few months back. He sent me a full new kit with everything in it from the original kit even though only one tube was faulty (he understood that it takes a lot of the product to keep my temporary dentures fitting properly since my mouth is in the process of healing.). He was so kind and explained to me the process of healing and the nasty bone spurs I have been dealing with, and even how to help make the product work and last as long as possible. Literally it was about 24 hours after talking with him that the products he sent me arrived. He also sent me an email with a tracking number and a link to the website and a code to get a 20% discount on my first purchase thru their website. He also signed me up to receive emails to be notified of discounts and such available when they’re available. I’m so extremely happy to have had someone call me directly and actually care. So super appreciated. Thank you so much sir (sorry that I can not remember your name, it had already been a very long exhausting day for me when I had talked to you), and you definitely helped me feel better, and thank you for going above and beyond to keep me as a happy customer. Updated review- So I bought this product again, and was rather sad. One of my tubes had the stick piece broken off so I couldn’t get the product out of the tube. I tried to contact the seller however that didn’t work and the only option was to return the item. This normally wouldn’t be an issue but I threw it away as it was late at night. I took a picture of it to send to the seller, to see if maybe I could have the tube replaced. But that was not an option given threw amazon. The only option was to return for a refund. I used the other tubes of product last night, so I obviously can’t return them. I just want the one tube of product replaced that was damaged/defective. I will update if the seller fixes this issue and replaces the product. I have bought this twice so far since I had all of my teeth removed and got dentures about a month and a half ago. I love it. It is extremely easy to use. And it makes my dentures fit so much better and not as painful. My mouth is still obviously healing, so I redo my liners about every two weeks. Which works perfect because it seems like they start peeling off and stuff gets inside around that time too. I must point out too that I had no back teeth prior to my oral surgery and getting dentures. And I had a pretty rough surgery without pain meds and being completely awake (due to a liver disorder I have). So I was completely unable to eat for awhile and couldn’t chew normally prior to my surgery for about 6 or 7 years, so I literally have been re-learning to eat. All Which might effect how long these relines last. Not to mention at first my gums were extremely swollen and my temporary dentures were made to accommodate lots of swelling (I knew I would swell a lot so I prewarned my denturist and she made them accordingly prior to my surgery). I do wish the tubes were bigger though, especially for the price. Having to spend 70$ every two weeks isn’t exactly in my budget. Currently I have been looking for a cheaper, but similar product just because I can’t continue spending so much so frequently just to keep my dentures fitting properly. Hopefully the manufacturer can reduce the pricing a little due to the size and the fact that they do seem to peel and have to be redone after two weeks. Otherwise it’s a great product and there is no mixing required or any complicated instructions. You clean your dentures, apply the liquid, let it dry... and then apply the product and place the dentures in your mouth and hold them in place for a few minutes (I hold them about two minutes) ... show more

  • Works but definitely over priced
While it works. You may have to use a lot and are supposed to have over hang. You can remove it with isopropyl alcohol. I found that out. It works great like the wipes they give. I use a qtip dipped in it. They don’t give enough of the primer. That’s for sure. The wands they give to apply are flimsy as well. You have to work quick with it. So it’s definitely a learning curve and with such a small amount of primer. I couldn’t get mine to work right so they sent me some more product and this second one worked great. You can’t use regular denture adhesive. You have to use powder. Which also has a learning curve. It’s been about 2 months and I feel I need to take it out already. So I’m may go to a dentist for a reline vs keep using this due to the price. If it was half the price it would be worth it for 2-3 months. $70 is a bit much for 2 months. So if you just need it for a temp bit. It should be fine. I’ve found after a snug up that it’s better to use warm. Like get the dentures with denture fit nice and warm before even attempting to put them in. They slip in better and fit better. Also seems that during wear all day I’m pushing more over the lip when I bite or use pressure. My back gum is really sore I think there’s to much back there but I followed directions exactly. It’s just like to much there that adds a pressure point. ... show more

  • It seems like it would work wonders but only if you don’t mess it up
I love the idea of the product and I’m confident it would be awesome if I hadn’t made as many mistakes. I was afraid to use it the first. I messed up, I used it in my mouth what the heck I paid for it. It did help a little even if there were errors made. Then yesterday I decided I could do it. Got everything ready and had noticed some of the mistakes I made. Followed the directions while watching the companies own video instructions video. Anyway I thought I got it. But needed to put more product on. I followed the second set of instructions and for some reason a lot of the product was missing from the palate of the denture or where it goes to roof of your mouth. I wish I had more product to try again because even the little bit that did stay of denture do help. But I believe if I had another shot at it I could eliminate the glue I have to use. So my takeaway. Yes it is a great product and the best part is you can keep it on for months. Now I use denture toothpaste to clean my dentures, then I soak them Efferdent. I’ve been told by my dentist that I have the cleanest dentures they’ve ever seen so yes I clean them as I would with no product. ... show more
