This is just the right size for me. My 16 oz diet coke and some napkins go in the top zipper section. The lunch section holds leftovers or a sandwich in containers along with fruit. If things go in cold, they do warm up unless put in a fridge or an ice pack is used, but a not room temperature after about 3-4 hours. I have waited 6 hours and then things are room temp. I like the handle, but I find the shoulder strap uncomfortable (no padding) and somewhat useless, so I cut it off. The side mesh pockets could be deeper but work for plastic dinner wear, extra napkins or snack bars. 1 L water bottles are too large, but a 0.5 L fits well enough. ... show more

Thrilled with the amount of items I can place in this cooler- both top and bottom! Just the other day, I had two large yogurt containers, two rubbermaid containers of food, thin ice packs, a zip lock bag of four rolls, silverware, two large frozen microwavable veggie bags, and four power bars. Everything stayed cold for the six hours it was packed. But, i bought this primarily for my work lunches and it supports two Nalgene water bottles and ice in the bottom and all my lunch fixings up top. I love the versatility and the packability!
