I'm really happy with this alphabet resin shaker mold Considering the price. The design is cute, not too big and the quality is great, doesn't stick. However, I did experience some leaking issues during use. Despite this, I still recommend this mold for its easy to use, lasting and easy to clean. The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love these! They are so much fun to make. With some help (well, maybe lots of help) even my 5 year old daughter was making them. I initially watched a "how to video" several times before proceeding. Once I started to making my own as I followed directions, it was all clear and easy. I do wish the clear sheets came with pre-cut shapes. No matter how well I traced them, the clear shapes never perfectly lined up with the molded parts. I might try to precut these using my die cutting machine. The molds themselves are good quality. None in my set had any defects whatsoever. We had no issues de-molding either. I definitely recommend this product, probably the most fun resin project we have done so far. Stock up on some fun glitter confetti if you are getting those. Everyday now, my daughter asks me to make more. Now we have so many shaker keychains, we don't know what to do with them. ... show more

The molds you sent are of excellent quality. Its taken me many, many tries to get one to turn out well, however, the molds had nothing to do with it. These instructions should help others new to the craft. Fill each of the molds with your color choice. Allow to cure. Remove from mold. Trace the outline onto some clear, thin plastic. (But not as thin as plastic wrap for foods.) Select your theme for each of the shakers, or use the same theme for all. Into the completed mold place small beads, sequins, glitter, sea shells, or other small things that you want to move around when you shake it. Cut out the drawn-on plastic... Be careful at this point that the outline of the piece will be fully covered. You can use UV resin to glue the plastic in place. Other glues that you can use... E600, super glue, or even a small amount of 2 part epoxy resin. Drying times will vary. Then to seal the shaker completely, add a thin layer of UV or 2 part resin. Look along the edge of your covered piece. There will be a tiny hole through which you can add oil and water via a small needle or such device. Remember to leave a little air to help movement. Carefully wipe off any liquid outside of the piece. Now use a little glue, uv resin, super glue or 2 part epoxy resin to fill that hole. Once dry give it a good shake to see what the movement looks like. Now that your basic shaker is complete, Decorate the outside to coordinate with the theme inside. It takes practice but I have found that a carefully cut and placed plastic will make or break your project. ... show more

Love these molds. You can make the clear cover for the shakers if you want or just use the clear sheets that you use for other shakers. Once finished, the item is pretty thick so a normal small ring won’t fit the keychain hole. These keychains are also much larger than your other resin shakers molds. I use these molds to make large magnets. If they were made as keychains, be mindful that they can get heavy and are quite large. Super cute though! ... show more

This was my 1st ever resin art project and the kit came with no written instructions! I had to watch a bunch of YouTube videos on how to make resin shakers and just winged some of it. Itvwould've been nice to have instructions on how to properly clean their molds too. I guess I'll be looking up YouTube videos on that too since I wasn't able to get them all the way clean yet. They are cute as heck but I made a lot of mistakes and messes. Still not sure if I did it right or not but I do know they are sealed and aren't going to leak unless they are drilled into! Lol. It was fun and if the kit had came with written instructions for beginners like me then I would've gave it 5 stars. ... show more
