Description
Prepare materials: Silicone pad AB resin or UV resin stirring rod Measuring cup or mini scale small tweezers dried flowers glitter dropper other decorations you like Ring making process: 1) Resin preparation: If it is UV resin (setting can be completed in tens of seconds or one or two minutes), it can be used directly. If it is AB resin (longer curing time), (for the use of resin, please refer to the instruction manual) 2) Add dried flowers or glitter powder or other decorations you want to the prepared resin 3) Slowly drop the prepared resin into the mold with a dropper (make sure the mold is clean and the mold is flat) 4) Be careful: the dripping resin should not be higher than the edge of the outer diameter of the ring 5) You can pick up dried flowers or other decorations with tweezers, and drop the resin at the same time, this step is optional 6) Leave it for 24 hours, the effect is better, it depends on the resin you use 7) Perfect rings and pendants are ready

I just love these resin molds. One side is shiny the other side is matte. Nonetheless my grandchildren had a wonderful time creating their own style and color of child and dog. These are a great value for the money, a good size and very easy to clean afterwards. Have fun with them.

Easy to use

Pros; Very well made mold. It's squishy in the sense that it's super easy to peel the sides away to remove your item but it's also ridgid in the sense that the sides don't bulge when filled or collapse when empty. The person and dog fit perfectly together. Cons; Dog and person come out matte and not shiny. They are not attached, they come out as 2 separate things that can be glued together if desired.

Inside of mold(s) is not shiny so front side of finished pieces came out dull

First, I will say that it was nice that both the dog and girl are in one mold which is nice. Also the mold is thick and very flexible so I anticipate it will hold up quite well over time with careful cleaning. The pieces released easy from the mold and the mold is easy to clean. The reason for only 3 stars is that the entire interior of both molds (dog and girl) are dull instead of shiny, resulting in the front of both pieces being very dull like candle sides instead of shiny as cured resin pieces should be. My photos show the cured pieces (front and back) after being released from the mold. I decided to attempt to polish the front sides, and after a lot of elbow grease and special polish was able to make the front sides look presentable. There would also be nothing wrong with displaying the back sides since they have the polish, but the smiles on the dog and girl are on the front of the mold, so if you want those to be seen with the pieces on display, it's just something to consider. Having said all this, I will be making more of these pieces with the mold I purchased because they make wonderful gifts for my dog-loving friends, but would not even consider giving them as gifts without sanding then polishing the front sides.

This is the perfect faceted ring mold I've been waiting for!

First, yes I cut lthe mold. Just a preference, saves me work space. I filmed the video because so many reviews said how difficult it was to fill the mold, and I wanted to share my lil hack for little hard ti fill molds. I use a precision tip bottle 1/2 & 1 ounce. I got them from Amazon and use black ones for UV resin. They are so nice to use, although I did put a bigger tip in the cap. Last, I guess cutting the mold does make it easier to demold and clean and I've been making lots of rings with them for weeks now. I have been looking for a faceted ring mold for almost a year. Everyone I saw thr ring was really thick, the band stuck out and I just know alot of people do not like that. These rings are perfect. You can't feel it between your fingers like those thick ones, yay! I actually came back here to buy a couple more. 7-4-23 update, still loving this mold and just got my third one as I make many rings at a time.
