I have some Lightspeeds and some Bose. The Bose I had picked up used and wanted to replace the ear pads and mic sponge for hygiene reasons - they worked great, perfect fit and you wouldn't know the difference. Maybe there's a durability difference - but that will take some time to figure out, then just change them out again later anyway. It's not like the OEMs lasted forever either.

This kit has everything needed to refresh the ear cups of your Bose A20 headset. This ear pad kit arrived in a simple zip bag package. These are wonderful replacements. Appear to be good quality, comfortable and seem to be durable so far. The ear cup material is very soft and quite similar to the original Bose material used. There is no appreciable difference in feel, which is great. These fit and feel just like the OEM and they are half the price.

These replacement earpads work great with the A20 Headset. I can't really tell the difference between these and the originals, which is great! For the economical price, this is a good replacement. I only wish it had included a new mic sock as well, but those are also available for not much money. I will report back on how long these end up lasting me but so far they seem just as durable. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward. Good product! 5/5

I found these replacement ear pads to work well with the Bose A20. The ear cup material is very soft and quite similar to the original Bose material used. There is no appreciable difference in feel, which is great. Very comfortable. I did notice that out of the box one side of the inner foam inserts wasn't completely glued together anymore. Not a large issue as simply using some foam compatible glue fixes this, but it shouldn't have happened right out the gate. The retention ring design is also slightly different from the original Bose design. Comparison photo shows these replacement pads have a wider (and slightly softer) retention ring. This makes them a little more difficult to mount as compared to the more narrow and stiffer design of the Bose. But again, they do work and are comfortable. I'm happy with them!

Everything that Bose makes is overpriced, but the A20 headset really is an excellent headset. The earpads on the A20 wear out after a while and I would consider them a consumable. Bose wants close to $30 for a replacement pair. These fit and feel just like the OEM and they are half the price. If you have your airplane outfitted with 6 Bose A20's this is a significant savings.

These ear pads arrived in simple packaging. Replacing them can be a little aggravating if it is the first time you’ve done it, but with some patience, it can be rewarding and renew the comfort of the headset. These ear pads are as good as the OEM pads for a lot less money.

Mine was wearing out so I got these replacements. These replacement ear pads work well with the Bose A20 headset. The material feels soft and very similar to the original, making them comfortable to wear for long periods.

These ear pads fit perfectly on my A20 headset. They look and feel just like the original. The fabric and foam inserts are even included so you can replace those as well.
