This is advertised as including the battery. But it comes without the battery. Be warned. It is not a complete fence energizer as it is being advertised.

The media could not be loaded. We power three mesh nets with this charger. It is perfect for the places you need power for a fence, but don't have power where you need it. We had a simple issue with the first one we had shipped and had no issues having it replaced fast.

Cutting to the chase, I do recommend this product, but with the caveat that at this time they do not have a written warranty that accompanies this fence charger. Now for the too long didn't read version... When I received my original system it had some cosmetic, and labeling issues. Now mind you that while none of the issues should have affected the units operation but... I bought and paid for a new unit so I expected it to not have apparent flaws cosmetic or otherwise. I had no trouble returning it for a replacement which I received very fast. My concern grew as the replacement unit also had some of the same issues. After some time I was able to get in contact with the company. - Note that If you don’t get an answer from the Amazon “ask a question” feature for this product, use the company contact phone number from the instruction manual - I spoke to a very polite and professional representative, and left the call expecting a return call to address my concerns after they had passed my information along. What I didn’t expect was the company's CEO actually taking time to make that return call, and for him to address all the issues so directly and honestly. He even went as far as to pull units out of stock and upon inspection found some of the same issues which he actually thanked me for reporting as it was an issue that had crept up from a supplier they didn’t seem to be aware of yet. He took time to talk to me about the company, how they started and how they are growing and developing better and better products partially reliant upon customer input, which turns out to be why he said he decided to deal with these issues personally instead of having his regular staff address it. So… Why did I decide to keep the unit without a written warranty plan?… I’m Glad you asked! 1) It did take a little persistence to get in touch with them initially, but I did later find that this may have partly been due to the issues I reported being investigated by the CEO himself, and it was the CEO that then handled the issues very satisfactorily, took responsibility, explained what had happened and how they were going to deal with improving those issues going forward. - And - 2) My background is that of a mechanical design engineer, and industrial control systems integrator and programmer. While all that and $5 might get you a cup of coffee somewhere, it does give me the ability to have some insights into many types of systems. What I can say about the this solar fence charger is that upon examination the circuit is simple, and robust. The electrical components used appear to be of at least the quality I would spec if I were to build this type of unit from scratch. I can also say that the solar panel used in the system appeases to be a high quality design with above average workmanship which seems more than adequate for this type of system that is designed for 24/7/365 use and outdoor exposure to the elements. Based on my experience, and examination, I came to the conclusion that there were no great concerns (IMHO) about this solar electric fence charger’s design, construction, or overall quality. I will be updating this review by, adding pictures and video as I get this system, fencing and all into use. I WILL also update if I run into any concerns or problems with the unit. Pros: * Simple, and robust circuit design. * Good quality solar panel. * For the spec’s this is a very reasonably price system. * Nice looking and functional design overall. * Their customer support is very professional and helping. Cons: * Company has no written warranty policy at this time, at least for this product. PLEASE NOTE: My reviews reflect a personal opinion of “customer experience” using the product, based on the actual performance delivered vs what the product’s description, and specifications promise. 1 Star - Very poor customer experience - Failed to meet major parts of it’s description. 2 Stars – Poor experience - Mostly as described but is ‘second-rate’, and/or a very poor value. 3 Stars – Average experience - reasonably meets the expectation promised in it’s description. 4 Stars - Good experience - Meets all described expectation, and a reasonable value for money. 5 Stars – Absolutely EXCELLENT experience! - FAR OUTPERFORMED all expectations!

I liked the all in one charging and solar panel. Dislike that after a few month my battery is no good. Would be nice if the company would replace it, it's use on a chickens fence. After buying a new battery we realized the solar panel is no good also, very disappointed with this product..

I had this set up for almost a year, but about a week ago it stopped working entirely. Doesn't charge, doesn't function, doesn't power my electric fence at all. For the 11 months it worked, it worked wonderfully. Snakes where still easily able to go through the fence, but no other creature was willing to brave the shock this was able to charge the fence with. It's a shame. I'm trying a new battery, to see if that's the issue, though this should power the fence on sunny days regardless of battery power, not to mention the battery was bought with his product so it's just as new. If not, then this can't stand a single winter and I will be going with a different brand.
