Super bright clean blue light. Of course its made mostly of plastic but seems like a nice thick plastic that will last. Already dropped it more then once and hasn't cracked or chipped. Really can't tell much about the magnet stretch because it also has a built in suction cup that seems ridiculously strong. Like ya cant just set it down on the desk without it taking hold. Ya have to slide it to the edge of the desk to be able to break the death grip suction. The wireless fob is a nice added feature so ya can turn it on and off or change the flash mode without taking it off and flipping it over which makes it easy to use. They included Both a wall charger and a cigarette lighter usb charger with cords of decent length. Overall functionality is great. Would recommend!

Can’t use the remote to turn it on once you use the remote to turn it off….have to turn on at the base and you have to do something with in min of that or it will not turn on with the remove either

You need to press a small button under the light to turn it completely on and off. When on, it goes into standby mode which enables the remote to turn the light on and off and change the pattern, but the only way to completely power it down is the press the small button under the unit. Bring your reading glasses!
