I believe this remote control helicopter looks okay. It's made from plastic and metal, but it feels a bit cheap and not very strong. The remote feels even weaker, which makes me wonder if it's good for kids. It has a rechargeable battery and a round-tip charger. We were excited to show this helicopter to our 2 young grandsons. They love the shark graphic. It is easy to fly and the remote is easy to use. We made the mistake of taking it outside to fly. We were sure there wasn't any breeze but we were VERY wrong. It ended up hitting a few high branches and tumbled to the ground. One of the land bars broke off but it still flies!! The media could not be loaded. I could spend hours playing with this little helicopter. We never had toys this high tech when I was a kid. But I'm going to hand it over to my 12-year old son to pilot this craft moving forward. A short USB 2.0 cable is included. I observed that a red LED would illuminate which can best see from the underbelly (see my photo) while the copter was charging. Once fully charged, the red LED would go out. There is an ON/OFF switch. A console is included which requires (3) AAA batteries (the batteries are not included). It too has an ON/OFF switch. When turned on, a red LED illuminates on the controller. You can easily control the up and down movement. Spinning CW and CCW is also pretty straight forward. Moving forward and backward takes the most practice. Overall, it's a blast to play with. Time will tell how long it will last. I think if it's treated with care, it should last a long time. PROS: - Tons of fun - Includes charging cable - Includes controller - You can control all critical movement (up, down, turn CW, CCW, forward) - Trim controls are included that allow you make adjustments to keep it from moving in neutral position - Has a little light under the front nose - Great value - Giftable - Appears to be sufficiently sturdy for such a lightweight craft CONS: - Instructions are in English and Chinese (it doesn't really bother me and I didn't read the instructions anyway) - Once I hand it over to my son, it's unlikely I will ever get to pilot it again:) ... show more

I got this Remote Helicopter for my Disabled Son, he always wanted something to fly with a remote, so I got this for him to try. Worked good at first, easy to fly and easy to use controller. After a few flies the battery started running down during mid flight and crashed onto the carpet, didn't think anything was wrong, didn't look like it, so we charged it up again and it won't fly, don't see anything broke on it, just won't take off. My Son was disappointed that it won't work anymore. A suggestion to the company, maybe try and make a little more durable, parts that don't snap easy, you know that are gonna crash. Still trying to get it to work for my Son. Maybe just a bad connection somewhere. ... show more

Kid likes to fly it as do I. Controls are pretty simple. Takes a little learning curve but not hard to learn. The thing really flys well once you get the hang of it. Do be careful though cause the blades will hurt if they hit ur skin. Had other types like this were the blades were less hard and more flexible but these are pretty hard. Only took my kid one time from trying to grab it while the blades were spinning to learn not to do it again. I tried to see and it def lets you feel it if blades hit ur skin. Not enough to break skin but will make a smaller shield cry probably and an older one just say ouch. So be warned. But otherwise my kid likes to fly it around the house and I like to have the cats chase after it ... show more
