It was 1:00am in the morning on12/28/23 when I needed to add air to our Sleep Number bed, but to our dismay was unable to access the inflation control (inflate/deflate) on the manufactures app on my cell phone. All our app data presets were lost. I was infuriated and had an idea to go on-line and search for a replacement air pump with wired controls. There it was, REM Air System. It matched what I wanted to accomplish. NO App, Dual Wired Controls with readout, quiet operation, ease of installation, ease of use and affordable. I placed an order at 3:15am that same morning, received the REM Air System the next day and in about a half an hour had the new unit up an operating. Everything worked perfectly and we were very, very happy. I will recommend this replacement REM Air System to anyone who will listen. We give it a 5 Star rating.

We had a 20+ year old Select Comfort bed and the pump was no longer working correctly. The new REM pump worked like a charm. Easy installation. I highly recommend this company and their product.

Our old Select Comfort pump/controller has been living on borrowed time for several years. One side had a slow leak requiring me to keep a plug in the mattress, rather than leaving it hooked up to the pump. And both of the hand controls were virtually unreadable, due to bad connections on their liquid crystal readout segments. My wife had been complaining about her side losing air, and we decided to seek a solution. Happily, I came across this. I would consider this a definite 'upgrade' over the Select Comfort pump, especially at the price! It was an easy install, a direct replacement that was accomplished in minutes. The only hard part was crawling around on my back, under the head of the bed to feed the hoses up to the mattresses and make the electrical connections. Once installed, we were delighted with the color LED display and the additional functionality that we didn't have in the older controller -- notably a 'memory' to quickly set and recall a favorite sleep number. There's also a quick pressure check that could be useful in diagnosing any apparent changes in the inflation level. Other reviews have noted that this pump seems to operate more quietly than the original. I'll have to agree that it does seem quieter, but the noise level wasn't really a concern to us. It appears to inflate at a similar rate to the old one, and that's important. As is durability/life-of-product. Hoping for the best, and will report any issues that may pop up in the future.

We have an InnoMax brand bed from Sams Club and the Dual Digital Luxury Whatever pump that came with it died. After contacting the company and being told that a replacement, under warranty, would be about $300, I looked for an alternative. Even though I had to do some DIY to make it work, I'm glad I found this one. This REM pump comes with the pump, the connectors, the power supply, the wired controllers, clips to hold controllers, and some vague instructions for the controllers. There are no instructions on how to set up or what to do with the included connectors. I'm assuming SleepNumber, etc., beds have the same type of connection..? A few of the comments and questions address the possible need for an adapter/reducer, and I knew that when I bought it, but was hoping it would work. The original InnoMax connectors were both different and design and size. Although I didn't measure it, the tubing was also too big, about the same size as the connector collar. So, I needed an adapter and a smaller piece of tubing...but I decided to just rig it together myself instead. Without getting into every detail, I was able to cut notches into the tube sides enough to force it into the threaded collar, then I was able to screw the other connector part in tightly. This was mostly a tight seal, but it was leaking in a couple of spots; a decent coating of sealant fixed that. The pump itself works well. It takes about the same time to fill as the old one, but the biggest difference is how much quieter this REM pump is. Before I wouldn't think of adding air while my wife was sleeping, it would definitely wake her up. But now it's just a low hum that you won't wake you. The controller with it's cool looking graphic to represent the bed is also a nice upgrade from the old one with just the number. The clips for the controllers are a nice little addition. It seems like they're meant for a headboard, but we hang ours on our nightstands' drawers, keeping them in place and in reach. We've been using it about a month now and so far it's not leaking at my rigged connections or anywhere else and holding. Although some instructions could have been...included, it's an otherwise nice working pump and I'd definitely recommend it as a replacement.

I purchased this pump because the wired remotes for my older Sleep Number bed had stopped displaying the number - much of the LCD had died on the display. It still inflated / deflated, you just had to guess where you were at on the scale. It was a bit of a pain to get this installed because the hoses that come off of the mattress are not long enough to reach to the side of the bed so I had to reach in between the headboard and mattress to cut the hoses off of the old pump and then get them installed on the new pump. Totally not the fault of this pump. Installing the hoses on the new pump was pretty easy, even in the limited space I had to work. So far the pump is great. It's quiet. The remotes work well, and it's great to be able to see everything on the remote. I wish I had known this was out there - I would have replaced my old pump/remotes a long time ago. Personally I like the wired remotes because they can't really be lost.
