The Rejolly Woven Hobo Bag for Women is very pretty. This handbag is made of high-quality synthetic leather that is durable and well-constructed. There was no odor upon opening this bag. What makes this bag so special is the stylish look of the handwoven faux leather that is thick and soft. The dimensions of the bag are 15.4 x 2 x 10.2 inches, which is a nice size. The handbag has a gold zipper to close it. There is one large zipper pocket on the inside. This handbag will hold all your essentials and give you a timeless look that people will admire. These woven faux leather or real leather tote bags are very trendy and have been all the rage. This handbag has a classic look and can be worn with dresses or dressed down with jeans or shorts. I ordered the black and it can match any outfit for any event. With the woven design, it doesn't show dirt as much. Just wipe with a damp washcloth when necessary. It is so easy to take care of. Store in the included duster in a cool area. Keep out of direct heat and moisture. Cons: This handbag at this price, needs more organization to make it so much better. It either needs more pockets or a slip in bag with pockets or at least a large bag to organize items. Also, the strap is a little odd. It is wide and puffy and flat on the top. It can only be turned one way to stay on your shoulder. If you turn it the opposite way, it will fall off your shoulder, which I find strange. I really like this handbag with the exception of the cons. I'm going to give it a chance and carry it for a while and see how I like it. I have a nice size bag from another purse that I am going to add to the inside of this handbag for more organization. I have 2 other handbags that are styled different and smaller but with the same hand-woven faux leather that I use all the time. One I have been using over a year and has held up great. I was very surprised with the quality of this bag because it isn’t real leather. Vegan leather must come in different qualities like real leather because this is great quality. The burgundy/maroon color is very nice and I can carry it as a neutral color to go with just about anything. The design is old-school - when is the last time you DIDN’T wear a crossbody bag or purse? The color is perfect for fall and winter. The woven pattern reminds me of a relaxed time. Rejolly’s woven hobo bag’s slim design holds a lot more than it appears to do. I’m able to fit a composition book, my tablet (with its protective cover!), a manila folder with a couple of papers in it, pens, wristlet, gum, lip and hand balm, etc. This is easily the bag I can carry to interviews. One bag for minimal personal items and anything required for an interview. (NOTE: To put the tablet, go,de and composition book in the bag, insert upright down to the bottom of the purse then turn to the side.). Lastly, the zipper are sturdy; the outside one has a long pull tab that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The bag did have a little factory odor that dissipated by the following day. I want to preface by saying that I will never, ever be able to afford a Bottega Veneta bag unless I win the Powerball. Seriously. 😂🤷♀️ That said, this is a VERY well made interpretation of BV’s ‘Jodie’ bag, the only thing it’s missing is the knotted strap. It’s not leather but it LOOKS like leather, imo. The weave is gorgeous and the coffee color I chose is rich and glossy. At first when I saw the handle, I wasn’t sure it was going to be able to fit over my (plump) upper arm area and over my shoulder, but it does and somehow actually stays there really well! (I’m 5’6 and a Torrid size 2 on top) It IS a tight fit there, however, so if you’re someone who likes a longer handle so your bag can hang down lower, this might bug you. Or just don’t wear it on your shoulder. It’s surprisingly large inside and can hold a TON of the crap I carry around with me. (Wallet, makeup, phone, dogs leash, etc) The only gripe I have is that the zipper is a little brassy…I wish they’d used a better looking zipper pull. 🤷♀️ I’ve seen faux leather bags like this at Buckle and Nordstrom Rack for WAY more than the price point for this one.
