I found this flavor while searching for a cheaper option than the usual Monster brand that we had been purchasing. I was super happy when i discovered that unlike the Monster brand these are sugarfree so you don’t get the sugar crash. They are still 300mg of caffiene and taste as good as the other sugary brand. They arrived every 2 weeks as I requested and were never damaged. We each drink one every day because we are in our late 40’s and life seems to have caught up to us both. Overall these are mine and my husbands favorite energy drink for now.

What you need to know: The Good: - Crisp, grape-ish flavor that isn't overly cloyingly sweet like the other 'fruit' Rockstars. - Great when ice cold, but still palatable when room temperature. As with all of these, too warm and YECCH. - Decent caffeine. A good pick-me-up pep. - Price fluctuates often, leading to deals. I got my cans for $1.30 or so last time, much cheaper than my local grocery store. The Bad: - Price fluctuates often, leading to rip-offs. Sometimes Amazon has a 12 pack for 35+ dollars, which is very pricey for these. - Taste interferes with food. It's odd, but if I try to drink this alongside breakfast (eggs, oatmeal, cereal) the artificial flavorings really spike. It does not complement meals; drink it alone. I like this flavor of Rockstar best of all of the 'fruit' kinds that are readily available, and would recommend this if you like a somewhat Concordy-grape flavored drink.

Another update: I've tried all of these now, except for the carnival candy. I can't say any of them are gross or completely avoidable. I get these on subscribe & save, because the hubby and my older teens like them as well. Without fail, the Lemon, Apple and Gummy Bear go first. They're very similar tasting & probably the most neutral flavors. (You can easily mix flavors in a Canteen, for example.) After those, the other flavors are more pronounced. Flavor is so personal (like perfume), but I do want to add that if you think Monster tastes like crushed Smarties candy... you'll probably really like Reign and Bang as they're much smoother and easier to drink. Also, after having a bunch of these delivered over the past months, I only ever had one packaging issue- the first one (original review). So if you're worried about it, you likely don't need to be. Update after trying Melon: This one is so much better than the Dreamsicle. I saw others say there's a weird aftertaste? I don't get that at all, at least nothing that doesn't come with the territory of these types of drinks. My 18yr old tried this one and immediately said "yeah... this one is MUCH better". I agreed. I put it in my subscribe & save. Dreamsicle: I'm an orange-flavor lover. I add the orange tangerine MIA flavor to my water everyday, so I took a chance on this without ever trying it before. To me, it tastes like orange cream soda. You'll love this if you're a cream soda fan! I'm not lol. But the product is still good, and I don't believe in adding a lower rated review because of my own preference in flavor. Note: Shipping issues are not a review of actual products. I really wish people would stop doing that. Totally skews the ratings. Mine came with 2 cans smashed and dripping out of the packaging. This seems like just one of those unfortunate risks in shipping cans like this. Just keep in mind that this could happen and maybe don't order something else at the same time so if it does explode, nothing else will get gross! On the bright side, it's clear so nothing gets stained!
